Picture of Your Setup Part 3!

Just got my Pulse 80W yesterday. So far, I am delighted.

@MortenOen is the mythical Norse god of atty airflow. You don't ever need to adjust airflow. You need only summon him. He appears, wiggles his braided beard and boom.

Only two full days with it, but I like the Pulse 80W squonker. It was a no lose deal for me as long as I got decent VW out of it because I don't have that with my other BF setups. If it did temp control right, well that would be gravy. Got both. It is still a single cell device, 20700 capable...

    Pulse 80w

How brave are you? :sneaky: I like mine. I'm only on day two, though.

    Pulse 80w

Good to hear that an update with additional features is forthcoming. You can attach another 510-capable tank or dripper to a squonk mod. The mod or chip doesn't know or care that the center pin in the atty isn't hollow and if the non-squonking atty works on other devices, your mod should read...

    TV Commercial for Vaping Product

I can see how that device would appeal to current smokers, especially in the age of microwave popcorn, Starbucks and the heat n' eat gourmet meal. A lot of the current smokers I encounter want nothing to do with any of my 12+ (and counting) setups. I'm convinced that pod systems like this...

    Pulse 80w

@LyLyV, I don't see any option to change screen brightness or timeout, either. I would try the resistance on the Recurve on another mod, and try another atty on the Pulse. It is unusual to see resistace jumping around. That's usually caused by a bad connection on the coil--heating/cooling...

    Discharging to fast?

Discharging at less than half does further improve life, but the benefit is added at a decreasing rate. Discharging at greater than half CDR further reduces life and the harm increases at an increasing rate (until it goes boom). As @untar says, temperature is a major factor and higher discharge...

    Discharging to fast?

    I just did.

    Discharging to fast?

Yes, they are. But we can relate some experience. There are measurable data showing that discharging at a rate greater than half of the CDR reduces battery life and capacity over time. There are also data showing that rapid charging (over 1.0 Amp) also reduces battery life. And that charging all...

    Discharging to fast?

Constantly pushing a battery at more than half of its CDR from 4.2v all the way to the mod's cutoff wears it out. Batteries subjected to that kind of use start making the device cut off well above the 3.2v threshold, and it only gets worse. A factory new 20A battery in a mod set to 35 Watts (or...

    Pulse 80w

For the life of me, I will never understand why RDA users won't use temperature control. I am bad about forgetting to drip or forgetting to squonk and mindlessly vaping until... TC doesn't let me get to

I got the silver/black because I have lousy luck liking the random color patterns. It came with a black bottle.

This is why I never preorder anything and very rarely buy stuff that has just been released. I've kept away from preorders, but I've bought newly released gear in the last two years and two out of the three have been disappointments. The Al85 early last year, the Battlestar Mini early this year...

I think you'll like it. IIRC, you already have a quality 20700 or two so you won't have the minor nit I have with it--battery life with a dual coil RSA and a single 2500mah 18650. I was out with it last night. Started with a fresh charge and a full-ish bottle. I got a whole evening out of both...

    Pulse 80w

Yeah, I know. I've done the homework but I have an armada of 18650 and this is my very firstest ever 20700 capable mod.

    Pulse 80w

Got my Pulse 80w yesterday. It's a winner. My only complaint is that battery life is short with a dual coil Pulse 24, but that's expected with a single cell device. I don't have any 20700 cells and don't know if I'll get any in the next few weeks. TC is very customizable--you can set the TCR...
