    I think it depends on the flavour strength of your concentrate and your personal preference. I just mixed mine at 60%. 1ml of 50/50 60mg nic, 1ml of VG and 3ml of cigar extract (PG). A little weak for my taste. My extract might be weaker than yours. I think it's all about trial and error.

    Skepticide, what I understand about your diagrams makes me think this: I have a ZAU with a larger than usual air intake (airy draw). I didn't like that when using a normal size drip tip.     Not white hot. :( Very bright orange going towards yellow. Let me know how it works out for you. I hope it makes a difference. Might justify the purchase of a higher temperature torch system. Or bring a couple of coils for heating to someone who knows what he' doing. :)

    I use a folded 2mm and a bent piece of wire to thread it into the coil )-. 30 AWG will not change shape when I thread the wick. Then as BJ43 says.
