Huh...
Surprised you like it. I found the draw way too airy and the flavor pretty muted.
Great vapor, nice machining. Lacked in some other departements.
Higher amp draw on 18650's. 20AMPS versus 6 on 350's.
Shorts can draw a lot of amps. If you ever ohm a shorted coil it can read something like .4 ohms....lower the ohm the more amp draw on the battery. I prefer to play it safe. Yes it can also read like 10ohm, really depends on the short...
Does the juice in your fog taste a bit off? Just curious.
I might have to pull mine apart and soak in 99%. Can't get rid off the slightly odd flavor across several juices.
I haven't, but I might start. Emonty is very knowledgable and he probably has a point about the machining oil. I'll likely boil, dawn and re-boil a few sheets tomorrow. Can't hurt.
Eh, people said Petar K was crazy too because it broke all the rules of traditional wick making. Unoxidized wicks, wicks touching the bottom of the tank etc.
I maintain for myself personally a couple dozen genesis devices and I have no idea where my torch is anymore. I re-wick them a lot since...
No, very little chance of it moving and shorting again. It creates quite a large oxidized area around the wire. I can't say I've had to deal with a short for a few months either using this or Petar K.
To answer the other questions without creating multiple posts:
I don't think it matters if the...
I'm almost hesitant to give you this recommendation but I hate seeing people struggle. The reason I'm hesitant is because not everyone uses the same kinds of batteries so don't do this unless you are using an AW or MNKE in 18650 mode.
1) Put away the torch
2) Roll a wick and juice burn it 3...
I think you probably answered your own question in the original post. The wick is on the older sider, it's possible it's gunked up and not wicking well enough to keep up with the coil.
It will get full saturated if you let it sit for a bit and the hits you take are great. During normal vaping...
I have to agree with Nancy on this one...and the people that say brass is fine are generally in the camp of "I smoked a lot more chemicals in cigarettes".
Ok fine. No doubt about that.
However, didn't we all get off cigarettes to stop inhaling unknown chemicals? That's where my mind is. If...
Lol..ok, Thanks.
Shows you what I know. I basically never leave West Los Angeles. My stomping grounds are Santa Monica, Venice, Culver City and if I have to go east of the 405 it's Hollywood and Beverly hills for some new restaurant my wife found. Downtown a couple time for the watch district...
Cyclin, I'm not actually sure you can get a valid reading with that type of meter. If you can it's going to be really difficult. Even with the digital ones you need a pretty steady hand and very even pressure or your ohms jump all over. We're talking taking readings to the decimal place here...
Foggatti is an odd atomizer. It has a lot of really good stuff going for it, but it also has some not so good stuff. The machining is awesome and it looks great. Will also have a lot of cool stuff for it in the future. The clever machining and design have down sides though. It's very gurgly, as...
It's not so bad with the pit hammer. Basically without any spacers what happens is the switch sits a little lopsided because the battery is in a bit deeper then it should be. The switch will always have a lower side, if you just make sure that's that side gets fully depressed it will fire every...
I have a very low ohm coil....on the pit hammer with a Hellfire right now. Love these MNKE's but they are a slight pain in the Pit hammer. A little shorter then the King Kong's he built it for so I had to mess with the switch a bit.
Probably my favorite setup at the moment Pit Hammer + Hellfire...
