    Oh I know--that is what is puzzling me. Yep. It isn't plated--I took a good look under high magnification and it is one material only. I'm pretty sure it isn't the .999 silver as was advertised. I did buy it from a jewelry website. I'm just going to look for a 32g nickel wire supplier not on...

    When I say resistance, I mean .1 ohm every 6mm of silver. My kanthal at .9" meters out to .6 ohm, then add the needed silver and I am at .9 ohm. Very strange...glad I got a multimeter, but confused as to why my silver has that much resistance.
