I've not so much as removed my wick or coil since installing the BD13 into my tank around a month ago. I do dry burn every so often and the wick turns white again and the coils clean right up. Unless this coil pops it looks like it might last for some time yet.
I did this already on mine and I am vaping at as I type this.
It works quite well, but I am still seeing voltage drop. Cant really put my finger on it so I just vape it.:)
Well now, that's being a little generous :) I have been running the same coil on a ceramic setup for about a month. The coil (after dry burning to clean) looks as good as new. We break coils when we fiddle with them. If you get a good no-fiddle setup, the coil should last a long long time...
They were saying the air hole in the actual drip tip in stock form would need to be calculated into the equation. Since some tips have a larger than average "drip bore". :) So, You would not only need to account for the different size holes in the side of the tip, but also the different size...
I wish everyone had the same results that myself and others (posted on a other forum too) have had.
You do need to like the airy draw in order for it to work. I watched a youtube video of a guy that ran 2x 1/8 air holes and the vapor was absurd. I would imagine you would defiantly loose...
Yes. Drilling right at the point it contacts the atty. The one SS I did I had the to go slightly (1mm) higher due to the shape of the tip.

I'm a air/vapor ....., I know. But I tried my new "drilled driptips" tonight on my IGO-S tonight and the vapor is insaine. I put my "stock" driptip back on and the vapor went south. I have used it on the RSST, AGA-T2, and now the IGO-S.
I have no idea whats happening with this new setup but...
Wow, You jumped right to the stainless tip:laugh:
I like it too, Only problem is I am getting spoiled by the air flow. Guess I'll be switching my tips over to other attys for the time being. I will say I was amazed, but yes it is airy. My chest was actually hurting from sucking these things...
LOL, Yes. Air hole. Guess I had wick hole on the brain. It was a test to see if the air volume was gonna be too much but I think I'm going to keep it this way due to the results. I started with a crappy alum tip and then drilled my SS one too.
Some folks are probably gonna think I'm insane but anymore a 1/16 air hole is not enough for me on the larger attys (AGA-T, RSST, Etc.) and I did not want to drill another 1/16 hole and chance ruining the entire thing.
So I was driving down the road today thinking, and decided to drill out an...
I think I get it but since I don't have mine yet I'd like to see a picture if you could snap a couple off. Need to store as much info as I can so when mine arrives I can get right to it. Thanks
