Penelope o ring
Keeping the top cap just snug, and not too tight, is key here. Too tight and it's murder to open/close liquid control. The o-ring spreads wider as you tighten the cap. The wider the o-ring, the harder it is to turn the liquid control. If you find the control is hard to turn, loosen the cap a... -

Yeah, anything but Priority mail, using padding in the box, is asking for them to trash it. First class is anything but! Shouldn't even be an option. I know you guys want to offer cheaper options.....but see what happens when you do? >.<- R53_Dave

New wicks coming?
I'm finding you will have to rinse the coil off at least once every 2-3 days under hot water till it's clean. Even more so if using heavy VG content liquid. I just remove the tank body, and mouth piece, and rinse it under pure hot water till the wick/coil is mostly white again. I then used...- R53_Dave

Line V2 headaches!
Thanks Dan! The cotton trick looks good for insulating the wick from the line body too. It seems like that's the biggest issue atm. Shorting from the wick hole, or the wick touching metal in the tank. Taking the non working setup straight off the Line and into the Katana....and it working.....is... -
New source for silica wick

32ga nichrome for less than 2 ohm coil?
I was getting 4 wraps around a triple wick with 32g wire (about 1.5 inchs of contact wire. 1 3/4inches if you count connections) and seeing 1.8ohms. 4-5 wraps seems about perfect on the GG wicks. Line V2 headaches!
Hopefully one of you Genesis guys knows what's going on with my V2 here. I got it used off the classifieds. The first wick I made worked fine. 1.6ohm Kanthal coil, vaped great for two days....on a ProVari no less!!! It tiped over (didn't fall or anything) on it's side and I didn't notice it for... -

Yes, the 30g .999 is the correct NR wire. I've not used that site to purchase it though. Any jewelry supply should have it. I've not used the Nextel, but hear there is special prep work that's needed to use it. I doubt it's any safer than the silica though. The silica seems fine to me so far...- R53_Dave
