Just a note that 8/32 screw means it has 32 threads per inch and it is a #8 size screw approx .164" dia.
The second number on screw sizes is threads per inch when measuring in imperial units
But as long as it works go for it....:toast:
Try getting a sponge and cut a couple of "X"s in it with a razor then you can put your atty in upside down and if you spill it goes on the sponge and easily rinsed.

No news from sniffle so hope everything is going well!
Can anyone who has the dual 18650 tibs tell me how long it takes them to charge via the onboard usb. I am using the LG's and it seems to take about 6 hrs.for me.
I know the batts dont have many charges so i am allowing them for breaking...

Yep all fixed! And for those people who are still building and have a temperature gauge on their soldering iron, just about 660F worked much better for me with 60/40 solder. I was about 100 degrees lower and that was my soldering problem, glad i didnt fry anything heating it sooooo loooonnngg...
Thanks for that tip Drunk! But I have found the problem, the tab from the battery contact that the fuse is attached too, broke off at the bend. Well glad i got extra fuses and contact as i knew the gorilla in me would come out. Things for me to learn so that the alumide goes smooth....And dang...

They have a feature to use the V5 as a charging device. Try holding the right button for about 20 sec. to turn off the feature I believe that will do it.
My V5 doesnt have that feature.

i believe that if you hold the right (+) button too long it will go into a charging mode for other devices like a phone.
Try holding down the right button for a about 15-20 sec. and see if something comes up on the screen. I have heard that some versions of the V5 can be used like that.
