I discovered the other day that one of my P3/510 and beauty ring are MIA. That mod was used with a P3 Kabuki. I'll probably find it some day but made me realize how useless a P3 top without adapter is.

Nothing wrong with that but I suspect it would not be a good idea to put a protected 18650 in there! (in terms of risk if one is not extremely careful and building for low power)

Just out of curiosity I looked at their site but could not find a spec on that spring. If it's there you need a secret handshake to find it :). Do you have a link to your 9A spec?

I was just tacitly suggesting that it might take quite a bit of trial and error (read: expense) to find that equivalence. You apparently did, but I never have. Nor did I spend $500+ trying to get there :)
