    Nietzsc, Most of it is 24 AWG STR.....I say most BUT not all. Are there any markings on the wire itself? It might have writing on it like this: "24 AWG STR". This would mean it is 24 gauge(AWG) stranded(STR) cable.

    RR, Thanks. If I was off analogs 100% I might have a clue about the number. It just blew me away thinking how many times we hit the button a day. No mater what the number is, it has to be better for us then hitting an analog that many time a day.
