Where is Idaho or Perseas?
I am 100% certain they know the name of the appropriate tool. its on the tip of my tongue, but cannot remember the "technical" name.
I use one of those star shaped wrench thing's. I forget what they are called, but Perseas recommended it like three years ago to me. Allen wrenches will often not work, or worse, strip it. I have done that before.
That sound like a oxymoron. :)
I imported her from somewhere else :) If I HAD to date women here, I would end up with the same thing my friend :)
edit. no, she was not a mail order bride either :) Just wanted to insert that before the comments started :)
you might try rocking it back and forth ever so slightly. Be careful as you can tighten it more, but I found that just a little, teeny-weeny slight rocking and then turning the right direction might work :)
I know once again, I am in the minority here, but I like Todd. I think what I like about him is that when I watch, it feels like a I made a video myself and am watching it. He is very human, makes tons of mistakes and bumbles his way through things. He also does not make excuses for that...
perseas would love my GF. she is a super space nerd (nerd in the best sense of the word of course). she actually attended "space camp" when she was younger.
She has a subscription to Scientific American :) She routinely tries to explain this stuff to me and if I am lucky can follow her for...
I am afraid to post a list. At one point I made a spreadsheet where I was going to list all devices, accessories etc.
stopped after the devices because it was embarrassing. Looking to adopt the Idaho approach as soon as I can figure out how to not become so attached to inanimate objects. :)
you and me both :) I am either getting better or worse as I age. I sometimes think of myself as a younger Larry David, which I am pretty sure is NOT a good thing for those around me :)
good evening everyone. Nice to see everyone survived the holiday in one piece.
I love the Apple conversation. I am actually very slowly reading the book about Steve Jobs as we speak (it is taking me a year reading a couple pages once a week) :)
I have been a fan since my first Apple IIe...
hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas day!
off to partake in our typical traditions. dim sum in the am, bad (or good depending on your taste) movie, then a big dinner with gift exchanges. :)
my pooch is extra excited about all the treats Santa brought him. Especially the bully sticks...
I guess in the spirit of this thread and Perseas and his marvelous device it would be a "X" or dos in my particular case :toast:
that was the perfect setup btw.
ok. clearly I was wrong. please ignore my last post :) wrong per usual :)
resume the happy holidays everyone :)
its the most wonderful time of the year! (he sings) :)
