Yeah, it is a VV iPod and there are 2 14500 batteries in it. Also a screen showing the current voltage. The black cloth will be replaced by a black foil... Some more pictures:- peter_panda

Maybe it is Aluminium. It is registered in the Wiki as Nickel, but as you say it has the ''To my friend'' on the site. So even if I am able to restore the aluminium the engravings are gone, right? Or can I do anything? Concerning the Metal Polish & Restorer: So I should just polish it to the...- peter_panda

There you go. The engravings are really hard to see, especially when taking a picture. I do not care that much about the engravings as they are hardly there anyway. It would be just nice if it got a fresh look.- peter_panda

I know you are the shiny master ;) Nevertheless, I do not completely agree with you. If I purchase something I should not be responsible for checking or cleaning a part. It should arrive and be ready to use straight away. But as it is no big deal to polish the bottom, I will do it :)...- peter_panda

Alright, Captain! Unfortunately Flitz is not available on German eBay. I'll order some other stuff and then polish it. I did not polish it, yet. I have received it this morning and just tried it with a fiber cloth without being succesful. Honestly, If I purchase something I expect not to have...- peter_panda

Hey, I have received my SS GGTB Bottom Cap today. I unpacked it and wondered that it has really ugly black spots on it. How can this happen? What can I do?
