Hi! I saw your awesome Fistpack mod and I was wondering if you'd like to make me one with a 501 connector. Are you still open for business? Thanks!

Multiple Li-On charger. Is this possible?

Hi guys, I have several 14500 laying around but I find myself always rotating the same 2 sets of batteries. Basically, I take away the 2 used batteries and swap them with the charged ones. I guess, in the long run, this leads to have 4 batteries with lower capacity and a bunch of new...

New source of liquid/custom flavours & DIY stuff

Rave, you should try the FlavorArt's at 6-7% max (3 times the suggested amount) if you are actually fine with a 50% for the cappella's! I usually mix 10% with the Lorann or a 20% with Cappella's, therefore your taste buds are 1.5 to 2.5 times less receptive then mine :-)

New source of liquid/custom flavours & DIY stuff

They are awesome! Little story: for Christmas I came back to visit my family in italy and the amazing Air Europa lost my luggage. No big deal. The biggest problem was that my homemade liquids (90 mls, just to be sure I didn't need more for just 10 days) were inside it! I managed to resist for 3...

    The rebuilt juice box

Carlos, first of all, GREAT MOD! I'm trying to do one mod with some flat lithium batteries and i was planning also to use a reservoir of liquid. The first idea I had was to use a spray bottle connected to the cart but your new system looks perfect. So the question is: how do you pump the liquid...

    Project boxes

So far it's not going good... The box I made it's tooooo huge :-) But on the positive side, the liquid solvent is amazing: you apply it with the little brush included and in few seconds/a minute it will melt the two plastics together! I couldn't believe the results! I apply a lot of force on one...

    Project boxes

Never heard of JB Weld before, but that's normal since I don't know pretty much any "manual" skill :-) I see from the website that it is kind of a paste to bond two materials, right? The stuff they suggested me to use is a liquid just made to bond two equal kind of plastic... tomorrow I'll try...

    Project boxes

There is a problem with the radioshack boxes: they are too thick! At the end I bought two pieces of plastic in an art shop and a bonding liquid (i think it's a solvent but I'm not sure) and they told me it will be strong I'll try :-)

    Project boxes

Hi guys, I finally received the flat Lithium batteries (Thread discussing them) but they don't fit in a 4xAA radioshack box. My idea was to fit them in little more of the space of two 14500 but I was wrong. The flat batteries are a bit taller than the 14500 (probably they are 20mm or even 24)...

Looking for Nerf...or how might one...

Dave, you are amazing! Thank you for all the infos! I already bought the two batteries and now I will look in TI.com site to find this switching buck device (i use only 801, probably I will use some 901 attys that I already have but I won't use the 510 -yet-). I'm planning to make the "perfect...

Looking for Nerf...or how might one...

Wow Dave, thank you for the explanation. I am planning to use this battery: Polymer Li-Ion Cell: 3.7V 1400mAh (703562-10C) 5.18Wh, 10A Drain Rate - UL Listed I already bought two of them and the original plan was to use them in series to a linear buck (the TI one). At this point, if I...

Looking for Nerf...or how might one...

The question so is: what is better? a) 2 x 3.7v in series (8.4 total v) with a voltage regulator to 5v b) 2 x 3.7v in parallel (4.2 total V but double amh) with this PTNO4050C Which one is wasting less energy / is lasting longer / better / cooler / etc? :-)

Looking for Nerf...or how might one...

Thank you for the answers. I am planning to use two flat cell batteries (3.7v each @1400mah with 10C discharge) in serial and a TI voltage regulator to drop the voltage at 5v. I am already doing it with two 14500 while I wait for the batteries to arrive. If I change the schema by using the two...

Did I miss something? How do I get one of these and why are they better than a voltage regulator?

    The next generation ecig atty?

The only concern i can think of is the temperature that this laser beam can achieve. Will it be enough to vaporize the juice?

    No wires or soldering... how?

The only reason to go solderless and wireless is to avoid the usage of a pushbutton, which will degrade and eventually stop working after a while. I prefer just to change the pushbutton ;-) or actually, I didn't use a mod for long enough to break it, usually I create a new one every month (or less)
