Yes, on a small screen, even if I could get it large enough to read from across my small living room, it would then interfere with seeing enough of the picture. Apparently, the audio can go to your phone, then from your phone to your Bluetooth devices, which for me would be my hearing aids. In...
Could I consult with you on choice of a TV? I have a 19 inch TV I got for real cheap, and I am frustrated with the small CC, the lack of emotional oomph of a large screen, and it would be nice for Tippy to be able to watch doggie TV. I have perfectly adequate antenna signal. I am frustrated with...
Thank you. I try to carry treats, but run out so quickly. I probably ought to carry more. Yes, we paid lots of attention to the man with the dog, and the bikes were not so scary, because they were not moving. Just a block further on, a family on bikes passed us on the other side of the...
Cathy, reminds me of some things I would like to teach Tippy. The biggest one on the list is that he is very afraid of bicycles. Last week we were walking in the park, and came to a couple with two little children on bicycles. He began barking and lunging, and I pulled the leash short, and...
We all are experiencing the same circumstances. There are some advantages in my life. Because of hearing loss, I am experienced at reducing loneliness. We all have time to get involved in activities we would otherwise neglect. Gratitude that quarantine is less onerous than, say 1918, because...
I haven't been here in a long time. My coach (Tippy the canine) got me to walk nearly 10000 steps today. I have been busy making masks. Just utilitarian, most of the fabric I have available is in smaller pieces, so the combination of front and lining and casings on the side and continuous...
AN old friend who was raised in Columbia says that it is like that in the mountains. Of course, if your lungs are good enough.
Congratulations, @clnire and Geordi!!!
I agree. It is very nice to have so much Kayfun stuff hanging around. A sense of security, I guess. Been having some urges to smoke, but coffee or iced mint tea stops it.
Iffy, good to find your post. I rarely get here anymore. having quit vaping and dumped my vapestuff on the lap of an unsuspecting member.
Will be praying for your daughter. What kind of chemo is she getting? pre surgical or post-surgical?
Glad that the oldest was finally able to get...
Yes, the headache is sinus. But I also have a chronic injury to my left shoulder, and both can progress to tension headache x sinus headache. Then it becomes a matter of no glasses, no hearing aids, no teeth, the only things that can touch my head are my pillow and my concerned pup.
Brain isn't gone yet. In fact, you still use both sides.
I don't know about this left-sided headache-- just can't shake it, but making progress.
As for Sandra's art-- what a wonder! So nice to pick it back up and know that with the motor limitations, you never lost the talent.
I believe...
Dog and I both smell sweet. Bunches of towels on the bathroom floor. Had my first one-sided mammo yesterday, and it was clean. Rain started last night, now everything is slushy white. I have a new recipe to try, but I don't think I will take a pie to the location for the community feast until...
I check in daily and read the last few posts. Since I no longer vape, and, in fact, have passed my vapestuff on to deserving folk, I am weaning myself off the site. Others know where I am on FB, and can relay that I am fine and doing well.
My daughter was distressed at the prospect of losing electricity for a few days. A better option, but she is looking forward to moving back to midwest. Tippy and I are looking at snow outside; Tippy is getting growly. Daughter says that Wisconsin ain't gonna happen.
