Ok, I'll take a stab at this for ya. If you like to vape at around 15 watts or lower a tank and resistance that works best in the 20-30 watts range I'd say you might prefer other types of tanks like the Lemo or kayfun style. Dang, got all excited thinking you had found 'the next thing' but turned out to be an old thing...still new to me though "nickel foam". Looks difficult to roll tight though! I once found what I thought were ceramic wicks in my tool/vape box that I keep in the garage and set about building one...- juicynoos

Tips for the perfect wick on a single coil build?
Have you tried the figure eight silica method of wicking? All my earlier attempts at wicking micro's were only so so until I tried coiling around folded silica. I found great success using 28 gauge and my coils always came out to 1 ohm and vaped great...- juicynoos

Thanks for the input CRX, I guess you use ceramic tweezers these days lol I like the fact that you point out that even under optimum conditions where due care and attention are a given, something can still go wrong and as such one should never let their guard down. So true! -

Wasn't the coil sealed in a blister pack type packaging. If it was open and loose I would be very suspicious of it. Maybe it has been rebuilt in the store, who knows! As above, visually inspect the coil to identify it. All the new stock BVC coils come in a pack of 5 and are mainly the new...- juicynoos
