2 full battery cycles and no "short" message...the switch upgrade proved to more than i was hoping for. as much as i loved the clean 1 button/gravity sensor design, the ease of clicking up and down while driving and not having to look at the screen is an awesome added feature. can't wait to see...

    sx-350 stealth

2.5" tall, 7/8" wide, 1 3/8" deep (63.5mm x 22.2mm x 35mm) switch upgrade went well, switches work like a charm, soldering was tight, but worked out just fine. also, fabricated a frame for the screen since my cutout was pretty sloppy.

The YiHi SX350 35W Chip at Varitube

The YiHi SX350 35W Chip at Varitube

yeah, seems to happen for all attys when the battery is in the "sweet", or shall i say "short-spot," and only when tilted to the right more than 45 degrees. titled any other way or straight up (even upside down) it totally fires fine. as a work around, i press the fire button a half second...

The YiHi SX350 35W Chip at Varitube

it seems to need to be firing an atty to display the "short" message. its only when the battery is between a certain voltage, once it drops down or is charged fully i dont see the message.

The YiHi SX350 35W Chip at Varitube

im having a very similar issue. when i tilt my mod more than 45 degrees to the right (screen facing me) i get the "short" message. straight up or any other way its fine. wonder if theres a gravity sensor bug? hoping itll get resolved with a software update. hmm...

    jonniemac's V4 Stealth DNA Mod

ill try and take side profile, not much there though. :) costs are easy to find, but id say i spent about 80 on box, battery, torx screws, fdv 510 connector. dna30 and charger was 60ish. so compared to my 9v battery box stealths, not cheap. fun project though, really love how thoughtful...
