Try what Rule62 suggested. I used to have some serious issues with both hot spots and shorts and didnt stop having problems until I stopped quenching and started rolling my wicks solid. I torch the mesh on both sides, roll it solid, torch the top half of the wick again and im good to go...
You should check out the nic base at WL. I haven't seen it cheaper anywhere else and you can get it in whatever pg/vg ratio you want as we'll as nic content. It makes mixing new batches "wicked" easy too, all you have to worry about is getting your flavors right.
Nice use of the word wicked you did there. Now it's going to get stuck in my head and i'll start saying it way too much again.
Where do you get your nic from?
Could have been worse, the 10% that I mixed up the first time was a nightmare. I actually like it now. I use very small needles for drops on that stuff though, at this rate I should be able to get atleast 20 years out of that little bottle.
I stumbled accross the following recipe a while back and just tried it last night, it's really good. I believe that the person who originally posted it goes by the user name "switch". If you have the flavors you should give it a try. I used 90% (PG) and 10% (PGA)
48% 50mg PG nic = 4.8ml...
WL just started carrying it recently (flavor concentrate). I havent purchased any premade juice in a while. I always get my nic base there and noticed it the last time I bought some.
Seems like it would work pretty good with some other tobacco types if you still have any. I was planning on making another batch of Captain and then trying a seperate batch of either Captain/FA RY4 or Captain/FA Cuban Cigar. I always put a drop or two of either Tobacco extract or Tobacco...
I mixed my first batch of Captain kind if light and couldn't really taste anything. I added a few more drops of Captain and a drop of Captain Black and thought it was really good but wasn't sure how much the capt blk helped because I had never tried it before either. Thanks for the info.
Yeah Im not really into sweets either but certain flavors are always pretty good. Those flavors that you listed all pair pretty good together and you probably nailed the percentages so im looking forward to trying it. I'll give you some feedback after I try it out.
TPA Caramel Cappucciano:
1st batch at 10% killed several brain cells and caused significant trauma.
2nd batch at 1 drop per 10 ml (10 days later) wasn't very pleasing to me so was going to give up on it.
Tried the FA Cappucciano and love it...
Filled my tank this morning with TPA Cap...
I tried the sweet cream a couple of times but it wasnt really what I was looking for flavor wise. What % of Fresh Cream are you using?
For those of you curious about the FE Oates. I cant really descibe it yet, I have to play around with it a little more. It kind of reminds me of "cream of...
