Optimal mesh dimensions, wire size and wraps for specific devices

i roll it between thumb and forefinger without help except a bit liquid. try to start really as tiny as i can, not caring about the center hole at all. while rolling, the difficult thing is to keep up the tension - i do that by drawing my thumbs versus the outside of the roll but trying not to...

Optimal mesh dimensions, wire size and wraps for specific devices

Orion V2.1: 70mm x 30mm #500 mesh the hex key that comes with the DID fits right through the Orion's mesh hole. this hex key is 2.5mm. i use it also to wrap the Kanthal (29 AWG A1) to prepare the coil. the same key does not work for the DID itself, it's hole is smaller. DID: 60mm x 45mm...

Wick and Coil Tips and Tricks.

ahem . just to mention: i do have a round slice of teflon, looking almost like a flat o-ring (but teflon is harder as material). this plate of teflon was thought to cover the bottom of a tank and it came with an RBA from a german modder (aka The Beast). actually i never used it, because it...

Wick and Coil Tips and Tricks.

that your mesh neither looks kinked nor strangled - that bad thing usually happens when attaching the wire to the higher battery pole, trying to avoid free distance of wire and drawing the mesh closer to the pole ... but never mind, i am a full enthusiast of this thread, following all you posts...

    ERA - easy rebuildable atomzier

i really can't remember as it came unspecified. but the silica was thin, 1 or 1.5 mm, the wire also was thin, a bit less then 0.2 mm (0.32 awg). i prefer 1.5 - 2 mm silica. i guess you can run any thickness of wire on the ERA, depending on what voltage you want to use. haven't tried 0.28 awg...
