    I believe that a lot of the cotton candy flavors are made with ethyl maltol (sweetener) which to me tastes unnatural/chemical tasting. I would almost bet that's where the nasty flavor is coming from.

    I think when they say "starter kit" it refers to someone who's starting to use that mod. Not necessarily someone who's just starting to vape :)
