Been watching the first look videos for the Atlantis. As someone who's been rebuilding since my 2nd month of vaping I'm very intrigued by this. Maybe not to replace my drippers but as another device to have a different flavor on hand.
Buy the looks of the clouds it puts out I'm going to...
Depends on frequency of use and wicking I would think. But yes, it'll last a few hours OR about 30 minutes of heavy chain vaping. Far more than 15 - 17 hits. Oh and I run at about .4 so if you're lower than that you could be burning through juice much faster.
For the last 2 months or so I've only used my Magma + 4nine. At home, at work, on rides, out shopping ect. Thing holds so much juice it easily lasts a few hours while I'm out running errands.
Yes I was a PAD 19 year smoker. Lung hitting was never my intention. But as I built my coils lower and lower and needed more and more airflow I eventually had to lung to hit. So I guess you could say lung hitting is just a result of chasing that bigger hit.
Now I can't back to a "tight" draw...
I had an acquaintance at work tell me that vaping and smoking are exactly the same. Part of me wanted to get mad an argue but the rational part of me realized that he's just completely ignorant and it's not worth it.
That's the other benefit to a dripper vs a chimney. I generally run my drippers at .3 - .4. But in my experience a chimney can't keep up at that wattage.
I used to think the same thing. But when you get used to big hits and lots of vapor (from having open airflow) you can't go back to a tight draw.

That's kind of the point of this thread. The Magma can last up to an hour on one fill. You break that down...
The Magma is essentially the perfect atty. It holds enough juice to not be inconvenient yet it has the flavor of a chimney. Not to mention it's far easier to maintain than any chimney RBA.
I can fill mine and take it out for a day of shopping or running errands and not have to worry about...
The Stingray X seems to be FOTM because it just came out. Personally my new favorite mod is the 4nine. It's hybrid like the Stingray X but it also eliminates the need for a lock ring. It's compact and looks great -
Got my 2nd one last week with a Tobh atty -
Now I need a 3rd for my RSST. Someone else needs to get smart and come out with their own hybrid, no lock ring mod.
The Stingray is new and fancy but I say the 4nine has the edge due to simplicity, size and the lack of a locking ring. IMO it's the perfect mech mod. I got my 2nd one yesterday and might get a third if I can unload my vela.
