    Thinning VG juices

I'm guessing here but that sounds like too much water to me. I'm a trial & error kinda guy so I'd be keeping in mind you can add a drop to, say, a 5ml bottle of juice, but if you add 2 drops you can't take 1 back out. Hopefully someone with more knowledge on this will be along shortly. Meantime...

Ok...did I really just do that?

I'd probably take the carto off, remove the drip tip, blow thru the carto from the threaded end, then wipe threading (both carto & battery) to remove any excess juice. Then wipe & blow through the drip tip, & maybe swab out the top of the carto if it looks overfilled. And uh, don't be snorting...

Think my wife needs to become a member here

Good luck Jay Dee, welcome to ECF, and thanks! I didn't think I could hold another cup of coffee... problem solved! Happy Vaping! :vapor:

Your typical newb "I got ripped off at the mall because I didn't know about this forum" post

Just as a suggestion, if they still have 'em in stock I'd consider the KGO kit from here: Dark City Vapor (a bit higher voltage than the eGo). Also you might consider getting some Smoktech XL 1.7 ohm single coil cartos, which hold almost 2ml of liquid. Oh, and you'll probably enjoy this video: 4...

    Still smoking analogs-frustrated

Little tip on stacking batteries: for safety's sake, they should be pretty well matched & equally charged. There's a link here somewhere on ECF about this worth looking up & reading. You may already know about this stuff so please pardon me if I seem to be insulting your intelligence... not my...

    Would you trust Smoktech products?

Nope, Ohms will be Ohms and the law allowing 'em to be that way is pretty much self-enforcing. Vape Ohm! :toast:

    Would you trust Smoktech products?

I expect that's close... or at least somewhere overseas, with the vast majority being from China. I also expect most of the components in mods made elsewhere come from China. It's just the state of our Global economy right now, and while it's true some of them do turn out their share of rubbish...

Intro - Looking for a good starter.

I don't know about the CE-2 but AFAIK the DC cartos are all low resistance, which you *do not run* on slim batteries. This is pretty simple: If you want a slim battery model, you'll get a higher voltage setup with a KR808 than with a 510. That's just the way it is. When/if you decide to upgrade...

    Would you trust Smoktech products?

I'll have to ditto most of that with a couple of additions: if you're using a cig-sized battery it *can not* hold the current capacity needed to run low resistance cartos or atomizers. So, for such batteries I would use nothing less than a 2.5 ohm carto or atty. That will pretty well rule out...

    Would you trust Smoktech products?

I can relate to that... I'm an old picker myself & I guess it still just comes with the territory. Anyway these things DO work. Good luck & Vape on! :D

    Would you trust Smoktech products?

Smoktech is generally high-quality stuff; not sure which kit you ordered but I've been using their E-Power 14650 for about (I think) 5 months now, trouble-free & loving it. Also, though I've never dealt with them personally I know CopperCreek is highly regarded here on ECF so I'd say you're in...

    Just joined the Carto- Club

I'd have to say this is a bit misleading. For one thing, the purpose of a LR, DC carto is to attempt to replicate, on a 3.7 volt PV, the heat of a higher voltage PV running a standard resistance carto (such as a Provari at, say, 5 volts with a Boge 3.0). IOW, what would be the point in running a...

Congratulations Marcella & Welcome to ECF! Happy Vaping! :vapor:

Still at it but need help with my cartos - Question #1

Personally I wouldn't bother unless I absolutely had to... I'd just replace the carto. I read on here awhile back something about using the filter material for aquarium filters; also I think some of the DIY vendors carry filler material but in either case I'd have to do some research to know...

    Side effects?

Couple of unknowns here I'd factor in: you were a heavy smoker of *what*? (Carlton ultrawimpyextralightmenthol or Philip Morris Commando non-filters?) Also, are you drinking lots of water? Have your eating habits changed? I'm kind of surprised nobody mentioned it but vaping does tend to...

What's the best E-Liquid Juice out there?!?!

"What's the best" is a really tough question, because it depends entirely on whose taste buds & olfactory nerves you apply the vapor to, what day and what time of day it's applied, what food and/or beverage might have been consumed or considered immediately prior to the application of the vapor...

Can I just mix together ejuices?

I doubt if I can be much help here because I have no sense of smell whatsoever, but sure, I'm liable to mix any flavors at all. For me, if it has a nice combination of sweetness, sourness, bitterness, saltiness, and whatever that other thing is (Umami?) - anyway, the "tongue flavors", and it...

I want to upgrade to a VV P V Any thoughts

I've been looking around at those myself, though my main concern is price. Anyway MadVapes has a few that might be of interest to you: Custom Mods and I'm curious about this one: Center Button VV Box Mod (EverCool) In truth though I'll probably wind up building my next PV and it will most...

    Nicotine levels

Acutally, that is *almost* true; one of the DIY liquid vendors (can't remember which one) did an actual weight/volume chart on this. If you think about it, "mg" is weight, and "ml" is volume, so your percentages aren't going to be exact. For our purposes, probably "close enough for government...

    510 atty

I'm thinking it probably depends on how dirty they are; how long between cleanings, how thick/dark the juice is, etc. I've played with a few methods and there are a few I haven't tried yet but as another poster mentioned, the ultrasonic jewelry cleaner sounds like a great idea (if I had one)...
