I have found that accurate to two digits is fine for me. I don't really go very low with my resistance though. I vape MTL and it's unusual for me to even go to half an Ohm, much less lower than that.
Here's an AIO that looks pretty good for someone who needs something to carry around:
XOMO Mimi All-in-One Starter Kit
Costs $18 and it has a 1200 mAh battery built into it, and the "pods" are refillable. You get one pod with the thing and you can buy a four pack for $10 from My Vapor Store.
I tend to use an all-in-one (AIO) when I need something that works like a cig-alike device. I have two of them that fill different niches.
For stealth and maximum convenience I use a Vaporesso Aurora. The form factor is almost identical to a Zippo lighter and it gives a very satisfying vape if...
This is the kit that I bought:
CoilMaster DIY Kit V3 with 521 Mini Tab
It was $36 when I bought it. Now it's $44 from the same vendor. That's unusual. Prices generally go down. But I did notice that the kit went out of stock a lot when it was under $40 at this site. The stuff that you get in...
I've got something similar. It came in the DIY kit that I bought a while ago. It is powered by an 18650, will read resistance, will fire a coil, can be turned to an "off" position to be used as a build platform. The whole kit is around $40 so the unit itself should be pretty inexpensive.
Man. That Ovns Saber Starter Vape Kit has a 400 mAh battery and it made me go "meh" when I watched the video again. At 400 mAh it sounds so weak to me. But...the Juul is 200 mAh? Is that right?
I just saw a device recently that looked similar to a Juul but was cheaper (I think) and had refillable "pods" (not what they were called). It looked like it was pretty convenient but the battery was pretty weak, and I was not impressed with the apparent build quality just going by the video...
Yup. Good stuff. I have had recent satisfactory or above average experiences with:
www.vaporbeast.com , www.myvaporstore.com , www.mister-e-liquid.com , www.eightvape.com , and www.3fvape.com
Sounds like you need to find a cheaper vaping alternative. If you can manage to make vaping cheaper and more convenient than smoking I think you'd have some success. Making it cheaper should be relatively easy. You might have to play mind games with yourself to make it more convenient.
I was just initially surprised because usually you'll see companies make atomizers so that the higher the intended Wattage range the lower the resistance. It's not that big a deal, just unusual. There are other variables involved in how an atomizers functions though. I can see from the diagrams...
Here's a pic that I took off of Aspire's site:
The wires are different gauges, the 0.3 Ohm and the 0.5/1.0 Ohm coils.
