    Yeah, I don't know if I would say its not recommended. I just had bad luck. Have had many shipments from the US make it without issue.

    Forgot to add that colour is a good indicator for Sweedish Pastry. When it darkens a fair bit, it is ready, at least in my experience.

    I like Sweedish pastry fresh just fine, but it certainly does change/improve with age. A week or so does a lot but a month really makes it shine. Can't remember what I thought of the other. It's been a while.
