    Class Action Exploding Devices

Plugging a cell phone battery into a laptop isn't safe, but it's not an issue because you can't get it to fit. There should be a battery designed for ecigs so that the uninformed can't mistakenly use the wrong battery. However, that would give the FDA a stranglehold on the industry. Hence, it's...

When will subohm and high wattage mania end? And what trend will replace ?

You have to remember that the shops make far more money off of the juice than they do off the hardware. So, they're going to push the setup that uses the most juice. It irritates me to see a new vaper walk into a shop and walk out with a subohm setup, but there it is. I suspect that 25% of the...

What is the next level after a kayfun? Looking for tank where flavor is the priority

How does a kayfun end up on its last legs?? You can buy replacement parts for just everything on it.

    Simplify things for me please.

You're setting yourself up for failure if you want quick and easy. Ecigs are still finicky devices that leak, give dry hits, etc. You will be on the lookout for the perfect tank, the perfect mod and the perfect juice and you will NOT find them right away. If you're serious about vaping, read up...

Indiana Call to Action - Stop the Monopoly

If it's costing you 8 cents per mil, you need to find another supplier. It should only cost half that.

    Funny comment from smoker

Strange. No one makes these comments to me. However, due to my tendency to pontificate, they're probably happiest if the subject doesn't come up at all!

Apple reject all of vape apps online since Dec 2016

I've never bought an apple product and have never understood why anyone would. I know they make good products, but it a mystery to me why anyone would pay a LOT of their hard earned cash for a product that then dictates how you can use it afterward. Once I buy something, it's mine and I'll do...

Kayfun v5-what wire/wrap combo are you using?

28 gauge Kanthal 6/7 wrap around 2.5mm is pretty much the sweet spot at 1.3ohms. Not everyone of course, but most people I've seen are around there.

Any atomizer that doesn't need coil replacements?

If the FDA has its way, you're going to be building your own coils eventually. You might as well learn because you won't have any options in a year or two. Provape and Nicoticket are two of the most popular and respected companies in the vape community that have been with us almost from the...

    I am at a loss...

You may have developed a sensitivity to one of the components. I've seen it happen. It seems your body all of a sudden says "enough" and become hyper-sensitive. I used to work in a paint lab and this happened to one of the guys I worked with. He worked there for years and overnight became...

Just one day and it's in this state. Why?

Sorry, you're right. I got my peeps mixed up. I was referring to Royko87 and a kayfun. A 20 gauge 1.3 ohm coil would be tough to put on a kayfun. I don't think you can even tighten the screws on anything larger than 26. However, why is 28 gauge at 1.3 ohm a bad build?

Just one day and it's in this state. Why?

28 gauge kanthal around a 2.5 mm bit. Almost the same as what you're using. Your choices are limited. If you can get a 20 guage 1.3 coil installed, show me a picture.

Just one day and it's in this state. Why?

Wattage is your personal preference. I use a 1.3 ohm coil and vape around 13 watts. However, use whatever you like best. If it's starts to taste bad, you're too high.

Just one day and it's in this state. Why?

You're not burning it. If you were, it would be unvapeable. The juice keeps the coil cool. Like I said, when it gets to the point where it's so thick that the juice isn't keeping the coil cool anymore, the coil will start to heat up too much and you'll taste it and change the wick.

Just one day and it's in this state. Why?

You have to remember that the stuff on your coils is the stuff you DIDN'T inhale. It's a good thing. The only problem is when it piles up to the point where the juice isn't making contact with the coil anymore. Then your coil gets too hot but you can tell because the taste starts going bad.

    first batch

I use 48mg nic and I don't take any precautions at all and just mix at my desk. Heck, I remember when some people used to vape 36mg juice so 48mg can't be much more hazardous. I wipe it off if I get some on me, but that's about it. I vape 12mg so a liter of 48mg will make 4 liters of juice...

    first batch

There's no doubt that ignorance plays a huge role. But it's not necessary to use high nic levels. 48mg is as safe to handle as any juice and if you're making 3mg juice, you can make an awful lot of juice from it.

    My friends all still smoking...

Vaping will give you your nic fix, but it doesn't replace smoking. There's more going on besides the nicotine. Otherwise half of the ex-smokers would be addicted to nicotine gum and patches. Has anyone EVER been addicted to nicotine gum?
