Need help on making coils. Should I buy them ? And my man question is where to buy

If that is the case, it's a very poorly designed atty and should be tossed. It's like stuffing a rag into your kitchen tap to keep it from leaking.

finding out coil building isn't as easy as i thought.

Well, it certainly pays for my other hobbies. Since I save around $4000 a year not buying cigarettes and I don't expect to spend more than $100 or $200 during the next year (flavorings) I'm pretty much expecting to have saved around $6000 to blow on my hobbies.

Need help on making coils. Should I buy them ? And my man question is where to buy

I have only used the Kayfuns, but I can vouch that wicking is never the cause for leaking.

Need help on making coils. Should I buy them ? And my man question is where to buy

I just use japanese cotton on a Kayfun. Nice and simple. Maybe more complex coils and setups are more finicky?

finding out coil building isn't as easy as i thought.

Yeah, it can get out of hand if you're looking for the best clouds, etc. I just want something to replace my cigarettes. Besides, I figure that although vaping is a lot better than smoking, the benefit decreases with the amount of juice you suck up.

finding out coil building isn't as easy as i thought.

I just build regular single coils and I doubt I've used 5' of wire in six months. I estimate that to be around 25 cents. DIY juice is around 20 cents per day. With juices I bought before DIY, 2 provaris, 7 Kayfuns, and all the DIY supplies for juice and coils, I'm currently ahead $2,203 since...

I’ll say it again: E-cigarettes are still far safer than smoking

Diketones are irrelevant. You were getting far more diketones in your tobacco smoke. How many smokers do you know with popcorn lung?

    Lemo3 wicking!!

Agreed. A leaking tank is almost always a bad seal. Find the root cause and you won't have to worry about how you wick it. If you control flooding with the wick, that's a symptom, not a solution.

Need help on making coils. Should I buy them ? And my man question is where to buy

I've always wondered why some people have trouble wicking. I've never had any trouble at all no matter how I wick it. It always seems like a no-brainer to me, but I keep on seeing people talking about problems with it, and how it's an art, etc. I've cut it thin, cut it thick, cut it long and cut...

A question about using a DIY calculator for DIY e-liquid

Yes, buy VG nic. If you add 20% flavoring, you'll end up with an 80/20 mix. If you add less flavoring your VG will be higher. Just remember that VG is thick and high VG might require thinning. It's really not much trouble to add some PG or even a bit of water.

New to DIY. Where should I begin?

People starting on DIY worry way too much about making bad juice. You WILL make some juices you don't like, just like when you order juices and find you bought some you didn't like. It's still trial and error. Just think about how much less it costs to make a juice you didn't like compared to...

Which Kayfun clone do you like best?

The mini v3 was the point at which it was finally done right. Top fill, juice control, no whistling, and you can remove the deck with the tank still full!! Ignore the .0001% who got a bad one or couldn't assemble it correctly. It's been the highest rated one by most of the people I've seen. The...

    DIY Juice Advice

It won't be 100% VG because the flavors are PG and they're usually about 10 - 20% of the mix. That's why so many places say Max VG instead of 100% VG. Around 80% VG is the max in a lot of cases. There are a ton of recipes everywhere on the net. They're easy to find. They usually give the...

    Orange creamsicle?

I don't know. I have never really noticed much of a difference with steeping any juices. Maybe my palette is too coarse.

    Class Action Exploding Devices

I believe the two terms are synonymous. You have to be one to be the other. We're not talking about brands of deodorant here. We're talking about something that can remove half of your face.

    Class Action Exploding Devices

The problem is that no one has yet made ecigs idiot-proof. You can chuck any battery into a flashlight and it won't matter because the current draw is so low. If you try to use the wrong battery on a laptop or cellphone, it won't fit. But when you have a high current device and you can put any...

    DIY - Tasting your flavors.

I saw a good video on the water method. What he did was use a pipette and put about 1 pipette of water into a half dozen shot glasses each. Then he would put a drop of flavoring to a glass, swish and taste it and spit it out. Then he'd do a drop in the second glass and add a drop of something...
