Stingray X magnetic switch question,
My Hcigar Stingray X from Vape royalty has a very small throw. The pin ends up less than 1 mm above the black delrin when firing, and is a hair more than that below the black delrin when not firing. Is that what you're describing? It has never auto fired on me. I had the opposite problem... -

Sounds like something is loose, like Nomoreash suggested. Hopefully it won't act up again, but likely it will so eventually you're going to want to find it. Checking the ground wire is simple I think, I don't think you have to remove the plastic electronics cover to see it its just hanging out... -

yeah sometimes threads are off, it sucks but it happens. there are possible fixes out there but I've never tried them. -

I'm not the guy with electronics experience that can help you, but i am the fellow vaper that envies you, because my unit does the opposite, e.g. displays the correct voltage, resistance, and under fires with the wrong voltage. Congrats you got a winner! ;) -
