P = I * V and I = V / R, so P = V2 / R Thus 3.7v with 2Ω is = 6.8 watts 4.5v at 3Ω = 6.75 watts 6v at 5Ω = 7.2 watts So these should all be about the same. My preferred 6v at 3Ω would need...

    Yeah, you'd get a lot more bang for your buck with a Bicycle Dynamo Generator That one is only 3W, though, so would still need some intermediate battery system. If one could find a 6v 12w dynamo, you could have a 6v passthrough that works on pedal power... or, ya know, rolling down a hill. :)
