    Volcano Products and Cleaning General

Something you have to realize about Volcano is that everything they sell is something else that's been given a cute name, a flashy paint job and sold at a higher price than anywhere else. What you have is, in reality, an eGo-C or an eGo-T. If you need parts or help with that device, there are...

    Should I or Shouldnt I

Minor clarification: The 30% off discount applies to both the tube AND the full kit. The tube ends up being about $35 and the kit about $50 after discount. Nice thing about Apollos is that they have a 30 day "trial" return option. That's pretty rare in the mod world.

    Should I or Shouldnt I

I don't think anyone disputes that a Provari is worth the money. That's not the question. The question is, is it worth the money to a particular person with a particular level of experience and a particular budget and particular needs at a particular time. A Lamborghini is "worth it". But...

    Should I or Shouldnt I

I'd say get something that will make a permanent backup for your ultimate PV. Don't forget that the eGos are disposable. They won't last forever. Get a good 510 device with replaceable batteries. Get a good charger that will handle some common battery sizes. Then, start using and learning...

    Lava Tube

This is true. However when you set some devices to 6V, they'll deliver 5.8V. Others will deliver 5.2V. Some will deliver 5.8V with a fresh charge and 5.2V when the battery is depleted. Some will deliver 5.8V until the battery is dead. The biggest flaw in the Ver 1 Lavatube isn't the amp...

What do most recommend after trying out the Volt?

Unless you increase the power of the battery, more vapor is going to be the result of the device on the end of your battery, as well as the juice you use. Small batteries, even if they are the same voltage as a bigger battery, can't handle the current requirements of some devices that produce...

What do most recommend after trying out the Volt?

Clarification: The kGo, e-Power and eGo are about the size of a sharpie marker. They have a 1000-1100mah capacity. The 650 mah Twist is the size of these others, but with about 60% of the capacity. The 1000mah Twist is far bigger than a Sharpie. It's as long as a full sized Lavatube and only...

What do most recommend after trying out the Volt?

Provangelists will recommend a Provrari Twisters will recommend a Twist. Most others will recommend a kGo or e-Power, The Volt is more powerful than the eGo, most of which are regulated at 3.4V, so forget that one. The only advantage ego has is the 510 connector and battery life. The e-power...

    single vs duel coil cartomizers.

Do the math. A 2ohm dual coil has two 4ohm coils. What do you need for a nice, warm vape? Say 8 watts. To get 8 watts with a 4 ohm single coil, you'd need about 5.7 Volts. 5.7^2 / 4 = 8 watts. You'd be pulling about 1.4 amps (5.7 / 4 = 1.4) Now, turn that 4ohm single coil into a 2ohm dual...

new to the forum..suggestions for ego c and liquid

Upgrade to an eGo Vision Cleaomizer, aka "Stardust" aka CE4+. Best $4 upgrade you can do. The E1 "Revive" rebuildable tanks are also getting good reviews, although I haven't tried one myself. This is a real tank, not what is called a tank on an eGo-C. You can replace the innards for a couple...

newbie here - looking for suggestions?

A little late to the party, but you might also want to look at ECBlends for custom juices. They'll mix anything to your specs. +1 on letting Virgin Vapors steep. The reason it's thin isn't because of the time they put in, it's the alcohol they put in. I've gotten juice from them that was the...

    Shopping advice

Don't sweat it. Unless you have your heart set on 1.5ohm dual coils, or love the smell of popping coils in the morning, you won't miss another amp or so. It appears that the way the PWM on these works is by limiting the wattage anyway. 4 amps doesn't do you much good if you can't use it...

    Shopping advice

No, the Vivi Nova has it's own heating element and wick. So you don't need a cartomizer. You just fill it and go. The metal tanks are an extra accessory (about $4) that you can get to replace the clear tank. They come in colors and won't crack with some juice, like clear plastic tanks do...

    VG, It Ends Atomizers. (?)

Yes, if it's just clogged you can usually dissolve the clog with some strong vodka. Just let it soak for an hour and rinse it with hot water. Sometimes you can dislodge a stubborn clog with a fine piece of wire. BTW, use the cheap Russian vodka, not the good Scandinavian stuff.

Might want to see the Lavatube forum. These claims of 3.2 and 4 amps have been seriously questioned and some vendors have quit making the claim in light of the evidence. Props to Vapor Beast for removing the 4 amp claim from his site.

YW. I just think that, as a fairly new vaper, you don't need the complications of a device that may, or may not give you a serious problem when you don't need it. The Vtube performs just fine and I'm sure you'll be happy with it. Just remember to pick up a spare battery. The Panasonic I...

The Vtube is made by LRider, the original manufacturer of the Lavatube. The Lavatube has become a generic name. All vendors have their own name for it. The Vector is made by a different company, a "knockoff". The "knockoff" company supposedly made some improvements over the original LRider...
