    I don't get it

There are other differences, some significant. But money is the biggest one.

    Lava Tube

That's why god created warranties. Don't buy one without a long warranty. The odds of getting 3 or 4 defective Lavatubes in a row are pretty slim.

I have the desire to get hooked.

You need something that doesn't require a learning curve. You're not interested in learning the difference between a Watt and an ohm. You want minimum fuss and fiddling and something that just works right and tastes good. Is that about right? If you're willing to put up with 3-3.5 hrs...

    Very weird problem with vtube.

How hot did it get? Heat, or wild temp. swings, do strange things to electronics, triggering safety circuits, changing resistances, etc.

lookin at a vtube. anymore i should be lookin at under $100?

If you get a stainless Vtube and a 3 year warranty with accidental damage coverage from Squaretrade, you'll be at $89 and be covered for 3 years even if you drop the thing in a swimming pool. By then, the Provari should be selling for $89.

    Comparing Mistic vs Halo

The Halo G6 is the same identical thing as the Volt you see talked about and recommended here all the time. The only difference is that they use different juices for their pre-filled cartos and the Halo is a little more expensive. BTW, the Volt has a 25% off sale through fathers' day, so the...

Help...New to e-cigs, Im really confused......

The TW Tornado is a re-branded eGo-T. This is the worst of the two eGo tank systems we were warning you about earlier in the thread. It has the same 3.4V battery of the eGo-T. You can use regular cartos with it, but you'll just be paying for a poorly performing tank system that you don't use...

Thinking of buying Apollo Vtube - any advice please?

With the 30% discount at Apollo, I don't think there is a better, similarly priced device out there. If battery life is an issue, definitely go for the larger size. The battery life of the mini size is less than half of the full sized and the full sized is not as big as you might think from...

Newbie needs advice on Vtube kit

I can't believe how leakproof these are. I'm using a metal tank now. I can't make this thing leak or flood, no matter what I do. Turn it on it's side or upsided down, and shake it around. Still no leaks. With a drip tip on it, I think it's pocketable even.

Newbie needs advice on Vtube kit

Yes, but the OP is looking to get a Vtube, not an eGo. The Vivi Nova requires no needle to fill. You just unscrew the cap and dump the juice in, straight from the bottle. The Vtube is light years ahead of any ego type battery. A Vtube and a vivi Nova is a combination that's very hard to beat...

    Ego 18650 "mod"

O.K., You're probably bumping up against the current limit of the switch. Some of the old egos and e-Powers had that problem. The problem with 4.2V at 1.6ohms wouldn't lie so much with the 11.03 watts, which is hot, but the 2.6amps it's drawing. Who knows what the switch is rated for. OTOH...

Newbie needs advice on Vtube kit

Yeah, it's confusing as hell. I'm still not sure whether the Fluxomizers are available under a generic name. They probably are, but there is some little difference, so I'll keep using the Fluxos just in case that's the one feature that makes them work so well. I'm sure that's why GV does what...

    Lava Tube

Nope. They do that with their industrial line as well. They don't label batteries with their own name except some consumer grade Nimh batteries. Their lithiums are either sold to re-labelers, like AW and Kallies or Orbtronics, or they're sold to OEMs for industrial uses. You can look at the...

Attention all vapors! N.Y. Vapers need your help!!! Casaa call to action!! Now!!!

All of which is a very different thing than a ban of the sale of e-cigs in NY. Anyway, this bill was proposed as a knee-jerk reaction to the fact that the assembly couldn't even pass a bill to prohibit the sale of e-cigs to minors. It's going exactly nowhere and is at the bottom of a long list...

Newbie needs advice on Vtube kit

The only reason that they're up to V2.5 is because Gotvapes ordered them made according to their own specifications. Nobody else has the V2.5. Unlike the V2, the V2.5 wasn't done to correct a problem. Gotvapes wanted longer wicks and a particular plastic formulation that was more crack...

Newbie needs advice on Vtube kit

Oh Man!! I wish all questions were this easy. First of all, the Vtube kit is the best deal currently avialbale anywhere, so don't waste your time hunting around. Use the discount code Vtube30 and grab a stainless or chrome one while you still can. They come with one battery. you'll need a...

    Ego 18650 "mod"

A "mod" doesn't imply a modified unit, as it does in the flashlight world, for example. A mod, in e-cig lingo, just means it takes a separate battery, in contrast to the sealed battery e-cigs. I haven't heard much about the 18650 ego mods, but if they put out 3.7V and take separate batteries...

Newbie here. Questions about Apollo Atomizers.

How long have you had this tGo? You do realize that Apollo has a 30 day money back guarantee, right? If you have had it less than 30 days, you might be able to get a refund. They might ding you for the costs of atomizers or something, but it's worth looking into.

Newbie here. Questions about Apollo Atomizers.

Go to their website and click on the chat thingy on the bottom left. Last time I did that I got a shipping quote to Ireland in about 30 seconds. Their service is really good. You might have to wait until it's not 1 in the morning though. If you looked at similar kits, you'd see that the...

    Advice on eGo-C

The Vivi Nova is unlike any clearomizer you've tried. It will look a bit goofy on a Twist or ego type battery. If you value form over function, get a stardust. If you want the best, most leakproof, trouble free, best performing tank around, forget the goofyness and try a Viv Nova. I've been...
