Chuck switchectomy and new skirt step by step.

Another successful switch replacement here! I had sent my Chuck back to Jeff a few months ago for a switch replacement, as it wasn't firing consistently at all. About a week ago, the same mis-fires appeared. So I decided to replace it myself, using the Radio Shack switch mentioned here. I was...

What battery should I use and where do I get it?

I'm really no battery expert, but since the IMR are usually shorter than regular protected batteries, I'm guessing there is a connection problem. It sounds like something isn't making contact. Also, are you sure your battery is charged?

Silver Bullet, Alpha, Omega, and BB Compared?

Hi RG, I happen to own all 4 devices that you are considering, so I think I'm able to give a pretty fair assessment of each. Also, I don't use tanks or cartomizers.......I'm strictly an atomizer/drip guy (both standard and LR510 and 901), so I can't comment on how well these mods do with tanks...

Silver Bullet button not working correctly

From OhioMelody: To quote Chad: "I apologize for the inconvenience. The switch contact plate may be off a bit. Feel for a bit of resistance on the top or bottom of the switch. When you notice which end it is coming from, firmly tap the switch with your finger or knuckle on the offending end. If...

    Coupon?

Well, I "liked" Altsmoke on FB, but I didn't see any code for 10% off. The "like" appeared on my page that others can see, so I know I did it correctly. But no coupon?

Somehow, I get the feeling I'm also one those "worst offenders," as there were more than a few pieces in the box when I shipped it out for repair. Thanks, Fo for your understanding and patience. :)

    Phidias celebration sale

I honestly don't know how important the heat concern is, as I've been vaping with this setup for a few weeks now, and don't notice any deformation of the tubing, even in contact with the bottom of the atty connector. I also, for the hell of it, dry burned the atty so it would get quite hot, yet...

    Phidias celebration sale

I did the exact same thing after reading the initial posts regarding tubing as a leak cure. I did it on 3 Phids and found the length of the tubing to be exactly 3/4 inch so that it jams up tight to the underside of the Atty connector. Absolutely zero leaks in any of them. I'm happy. :D

    Phidias celebration sale

I can't comment on the different size needles, as all four of my Phids appear to be the same in that regard. However, the first 3 Phids I purchased from Fono all have the red gasket underneath the Atty connector. The most recent one, a retro anniversary edition does not have the gasket. So I'm...
