    Yeah, you will see a lower vapor production from higher ohms. It's just the physics of electricity. Hopefully it will still be enough to keep you vaping until you can get it all sorted.     I'm suprised that mod is toasting your 0.8 coils so quickly. It's possible the coil head isn't wicking your liquid fast enough to keep up with the burn. What is your PG/VG ratio? If you're using a really thick juice with lots of VG, it won't wick as fast. Lower ohms do generally produce more...

    No, the shop owner's husband was an electrician! :pervy: Either way, I wouldn't own a mod that I couldn't replace the battery just because once the battery is shot, the whole unit is kaput. It's a lot cheaper to replace a couple of 18650's than a whole mod.

    There are many to choose from. A lot of people begining to upgrade now are going for the Kanger Subox Mini or Nano kits. I happen to be quite fond of my little IPV D2 and I generally have a Kanger Subtank Mini on it.
