Seriously..... When Did Vaping Get Taken Over By The Scene Kids?

I guess my thing here is kind of two fold. I say it's becoming a scene kid thing because it really is. That's who they are. I don't have anything against that except when the scene kids start acting like older people don't belong. And that is how they are acting when you visit any of the shops...

Seriously..... When Did Vaping Get Taken Over By The Scene Kids?

Exactly. As I stated in an earlier post, I'll pay for a little overpriced something now and then to help out a local business but if you're going to treat me like I'm intruding on your territory, I don't really care if your shop goes under.

Seriously..... When Did Vaping Get Taken Over By The Scene Kids?

We have 3 shops in this town. All of them are pretty much the same as far as people go. Their appearance isn't an issue. I only mention the appearance because that's the majority of what populates the shops. Young scenesters just too cool to be seen talking to the old guy. I don't care if the...

Seriously..... When Did Vaping Get Taken Over By The Scene Kids?

No, I don't expect older guys in business suits. What I do expect to see are people working there that are at least "civil" to their customers. Kind of a prerequisite if you're going to be working in any customer service field. And once in awhile I visit these shops for the sake of helping to...

Seriously..... When Did Vaping Get Taken Over By The Scene Kids?

How do you find it, "judgmental?" This is what I see in the shops in my area. A bunch of young scenesters all standing around talking and blowing clouds. When a customer walks in, they act "put out" if you're not one of them. The kid that helped me yesterday acted like he wanted to be anywhere...

Which scares me into thinking people will just see this as a passing fad and vaping will die out.

Seriously..... When Did Vaping Get Taken Over By The Scene Kids?

I'm soon to be 47 years old. I've been successfully vaping for over 2 years now. I've ordered a vast majority of my stuff online but every once in awhile, I have to resort to running out to one of my local shops to get something that is an immediate need. (Ran out of cotton or my next juice...

Why I'm Going back to Cigarettes

:-x I've got the tar, Joe Bob! Did you bring the feathers? :-x  :D Actually, I agree. He's not ready for a mech at this point of the game. There are still regulated mods out there that don't cost an arm and a leg though. The Kbox mentioned a few pages back was a perfect example. It's not...

    Fallout starting close to home

Actually.... The whole "ecigarettes can blow up" thing started with eGos. And I'm willing to bet at least some of those incidents were due to the wrong charger. They've already been under the bus. This whole industry is under the bus for that matter. The average joe doesn't know/care about the...

Are you talking about the MOD or the TANK? I don't see an insulator wrapping around the end of any Subtank Mini.

Not completely flush but close enough I'm not trusting it on a mech. No, I haven't had any issues with it on my regulated device. No shorts or misfires. It "might" be safe on a non hybrid mech mod but without an adjustable center pin, I'm not trusting it.

First... No device is COMPLETELY safe. There are always risks and hazards. Second, the Subtank Mini center pin is not adjustable and sits almost flush with the outside post. If the mod pin (or battery on a hybrid) comes into contact with both, you have a short on your hands. Hence, I am not...

And was any of that explained to you by a vendor or did you learn it on your own? Since that incident, I've read too many threads on this forum to think a tank without an adjustable center pin is a good idea for any mech. And on that note..... Hurry up, 3F.... I need my freakin' Squape. :sneaky:

    Fallout starting close to home

Sorry but unlike people who post their lunch on Facebook, I don't feel the need to photographically document my entire life. And what would a photograph prove other than I was actually in a vape shop talking to a sales person? It's not like we have conversation bubbles over our heads. Believe...

    Fallout starting close to home

I can tell you straight up one guy at the local B&M tried to sell me a mech with a Kanger Subtank mini the first time I went in there. Nothing about ohms law or any other safety precautions. Fortunately, I was just there for juice and didn't buy it. It was two months after that when I found out...
