That's what I gave to my daughter and her boyfriend. The iStick charges like a cell phone, so that's a familiar chore to perform. The Nautilus is easy to fill and gives good performance with the BVC coils.
I'd previously given them eGos and carto tanks but they didn't use them regularly...
Since you're looking at clones, I recommend spending a few bucks more to get something made by EHPro, Infinite or Hcigar. I have a EHPro Magma clone and the quality of its machining is impressive.
I'm no expert on drippers but I got good results first time out with my Magma on a MMV Nanos. Best flavor ever in 5 years of vaping!
1. Mech mod!
2. sub-ohm coil(s) setup
3. good batteries (AW IMR at least)
4. lots of air flow
5. high quality wicking
6. lung hits-- hit it hard, move the vapor...
Avid: Very good descriptions of Black & Blue Cheese, Heaven's Bounty and Lemon Custard Bar. I have those and will reorder all of them.
Note to those interested in Turkish Blend: DON'T order the flavor boost option, and DO let it steep for 4 weeks minimum.
Golly Buffy, I think you just invented a new vaping term! I like it!
"This new juice is rubbish- it arshes me throat!"
(see avatar for term relating to burnt wick)
I only run about 12, sometimes 13 watts, 5mL per day. The rationale for trimming the tails to a minimum length is to allow the incoming juice to spread across the deck to all parts of the tails rather than have extra length lying along the deck and blocking the flow. Whether it actually does...
The coil was 5/64" I.D., so a tad under 2mm. I'd estimate the cotton was at least 2.5mm diameter after rolling, twisting and smoothing. It didn't go in easily.
I trimmed the tails to barely touch the juice deck, soaked them, pasted them into place and installed the chimney.
Last night I tried stuffing as much cotton through my KF coil as reasonably possible, just to see what the effect would be. This was KGD, stripped of the denser outer layers and rolled between my fingers to make it more compact.
At my usual setting of 12 watts, the only definite difference was...
I made a spaced coil for my wife's Kayfun this morning: 28 gage Kanthal wrapped around a 5/64" drill bit. I spaced the wraps farther apart than I wanted for the finished coil, then squeezed them closer together using my fingernails; result: about one wire thickness spacing between wraps after...
I replaced my stock post screws with socket head (allen) set screws, which are flush with the post tops when tightened. Gives a couple mms more clearance for the top cap.
Rose, if I understand correctly you're having trouble with the filler hole leaking juice, which is why you've been looking for a nylon screw to seal it.
I just use O-rings on the screws of all three of the Kayfuns in my house. These are standard 1 x 2 metric rings which are available from a...
I bought two KFLs at Fluid Vapes and they work perfectly. $29.99 each.
Kayfun Lite - User Manual
Very long thread but it has everything you would want to know about Kayfuns: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/rebuildable-atomizer-systems/436118-kayfun-lite.html Seems that every user...
