If you are starting out, just stick to kanthal coil.. 28 or 30G. 5-6 wraps around a 2.5mm ID. With this you are generally in the 'safe' zone of 1ohm or thereabouts.. Do this for a while and then research on other wire types. As you get more experienced you can then better understand and... -

1-2 weeks? Wow.. If I'm using only one atty I usually need to recoil in a week.. max.. Always got heavy gunking that leads to bad burning.. -

Mentioned that I have both the SS and the brass versions and they were kind enough to send me both buttons ;) Anyhow you just need to remove the 3 screws for the bottom plate cover, and another Allen screw for the black Delrin housing for the buttons. Hard to find at 1st, it is a small black... -
