Thanks! I'm not too bright so I'm pretty sure when I saw your vertical coil surrounded by wicking pics my mouth was hanging open thinking: "It's a rebuildable carto, with a tank!"

The FastTech Thread for All FastTech Posts (Part 2)

The Russian showed up today (20 days). Zero tracking info once it left for the airport in China (3 days) until it showed out of Portland yesterday. That makes SF customs or USPS the bottle neck IMO. It came with quite a few spare parts, o rings, screws, etc. The only drip tips small enough to...

The Russian showed up today (20 days). It came with quite a few spare parts, o rings, screws, etc. The only drip tips small enough to fit are the ones that came with the cheapo FT carto tanks. I don't like the feel of the metal ones. Built a quick 2 ohm coil with cotton ball wicking, happily...

Don't know if things have changed but when the Vamo first came out word was the black chrome wore rapidly. The brass is showing through on my regular chrome V1 in several spots.

The Russian left Portland this morning. Hope you know who isn't reading this, they could get the wrong idea! Ordered from FT 4-19, disappeared in Shenzhen the 24th then nothing. My orders come through SF so I'm thinking things got screwy on our side of the pond. All I can say is, patience...

Quandary on which kind of tank to buy...

I've tried a good number of both top and bottom coil clearo's. @ 10 watts they just don't wick fast enough. I keep going back to carto tanks.

I've tried quite a few clearos top and bottom coil. None of them seem to wick fast enough at 10 watts so I go back to carto tanks. These are a bit slidey and the cartos are crap but you get drip tips with them: $11.88 DCT Electronic Cigarettes Round Mouth Dual Heating Core Atomizer (5-Pack...

LOL! Now THAT I understand! This is my first and only forum. I'm still trying to figure it out. Maybe I could talk Puf into lessons. If I wasn't so cheap I'd have drove up there just to meet ol' Phil. Still waiting on my Russian from FT that I ordered on Apr. 19. Should have...

Right back to "somewhat useful"! Thought all you had to do was click on the blue FF box next to the name or am I misunderstanding the question?

As a life long lefty I noticed that right away. My box mods have the button on the other side which always seemed bass ackwards to me so I thought it was a good thing. Going to give the Russian a try. I've been practicing my cotton ball wick and wire skills, such as they are, on a squid...

What was your first vaping experience?

First was a piece of crap M401 from a local tobacco shop. Then a KR808D purchased online, better. Next was a Prodigy V3.1 (6 volts), whoa too much! Finally a 5 volt box from Madvapes got me off cigarettes. All told a 7 week transition after 38 years of smoking 2 PAD, I can live with that!

    your age?

I just asked my oldest grandchild. He claims I turned 56 earlier this month. "Don't you remember?". I don't know why I talk to that kid. :glare:

    Vaping... Finally..

I spent the last three weeks of my transition burning 5 a day until they were all gone. You're doing WAY better than that. I think you've got this!

Trying the eGo to eGo 510 adapter link for you again. I don't know that it'll work if the MPV's 510 connection is a little long as I suspect. I sure need one for the POS stripped out 510 on my Vamo V5 though! EGO to EGO 510 Atomizer Adapter : L Js E-Smokes, Electronic Cigarettes I...

That's the one I ordered. Lite, plus? Heck I don't know, there's too many variations for my pee brain to keep track of. What I wanted was airflow control and the standard dip tip top. Somewhere in the FT reviews it says the nano kit fits too. I haven't done a lot of rebuilding but from what...
