    first carto ibtanked help please

I prime my cartos the old fashioned way, 20 drops in a standard (35mm) and 50 in an XL (45mm). Then put it in the tank and do some sharp draws with out pushing the button until bubbles quit coming out of the holes.

Sorry for the lousy cellphone pic. Here's my AGA-T+ with a cotton wick build. It's 1.6 ohms, couldn't tell you what wire I used, @ 10 watts. I didn't like the taste of SS mesh or the hot spot problems. Ceramic was a PITA. You guys got me wondering why I quit vaping it. I guess the only...

    V5 Buttons Won't Click

The Vamo isn't the highest quality mod but having paid less than $40 each for mine I knew that going in. Guess that's why I've got lots of back ups. One of these days I might spring for a high end PV. Something with a DNA chip!

    Tempory Thread Fix Vamo

Soft metal? Cut wrong? I'm really not sure but I could tell right out of the box they were no where near as good as my V1. Right now I've got a sealed 510/510 jammed in there: 510 to 510 Shorty Battery Extension - Sealed : L Js E-Smokes, Electronic Cigarettes Like others my V5 top cap...

Battery section of Vamo V5 coming loose

I had to stretch the spring quite a bit on mine to get it to stop shutting off all the time.

    V5 Buttons Won't Click

From what I understand the board can shift getting crooked inside the tube. On the V5 people are using the battery extension tube in place of the top ring for grip, not that I've had any luck so far. Mine's on there pretty tight and with just a 510 thread problem I haven't tried very hard...

    Three years!

I got into vaping at a good time, the coal burning days had just ended . My biggest problem was finding equipment that would work right and had enough power to overcome a 2 PAD habit. After a hopeless M401 starter kit, a KR808D starter and then a mech mod with TO much power I found a 5...

Anyone try the Aspire clearos/tanks yet?

He's a bit annoying but here's a rebuild video. I've done a couple but as single coil only. He's got another one on the Nautilus rebuild. Rebuilding The Aspire BDC - YouTube

Vamo v5 on order, did I order the right batteries to stack?

I use AW IMR 18650s for 3 ohm single coils and Efest 18350s for the 2.5 ohm dual coils 'cuz that's what I have. Check out PBusardo's review, he may answer your questions: A PBusardo Review - The VAMO V5 - YouTube

Smoktech Vmax Owners - tips, tricks and quirks

I pull the ol' Vmax out from time to time. Still works great, I just have to remember to set it about .5 volts lower than I think I should! Went the VW route myself and would love to get my hands on a DNA 20/30 mod but funds are limited these days. Sucks when I've only got about a dozen PVs...

How much have you spent on devices to date ?

UPDATE: Today is my three year anniversary. The first year I went a bit hog wild on hardware, in quantity rather than quality. Some of it was the latest if not the greatest, the evidence is in my signature. Just as well since the one high priced mod I did buy was pinched! $250 worth of gear...

    Three years!

I'm am now, this very day, three years tobacco free! I didn't mean to do it, I'm one of those "accidental quitters". It was a 7 week transition and it wasn't always easy, but well worth the effort. There's no way this would have happened without e-cigs. A big thank you goes out to ECF and...

I'm all about carto tanks with with one big hole Boge cartos. The filler is denser than in the Smoktech cartos so no flooding issues. So dense in fact that I do the old thermometer shake every two drops to prefill. I don't even bother getting the ones with the flange anymore. BOGE - LASER...

Vamo v5 not recognizing 18650's but 18350's work.

LOL! Cleaning the Vamo got me 8 more hours before it quit again so I know how you feel! I had to keep stretching the spring until it put enough pressure on the battery to keep it from losing contact. It's hard to get it stuffed back in there now. That's why mine kept shutting off anyway. So...

Vamo v5 not recognizing 18650's but 18350's work.

Glad cleaning the pos post got you going. That's what I tried first but it didn't help. Three times I stretched the spring before it worked!

    Should I buy another one?

My V1 is over a year old and the threads are still fine. My V5 threads stripped in less than 2 months. There's several fixes. An eGo/510 adapter: EGO to EGO 510 Atomizer Adapter [2104] : L Js E-Smokes, Electronic Cigarettes Solder in a sealed 510/510 adapter (I did this with a box mod): V2...
