    When not using.. one the side or standing up?

    It's a moot point for me,,, I prefer dripping right on the atty, or dipping it into a little puddle of juice in a contact lense case. The exposed atomizer makes dripping easy, and dipping possible. That's one of the best things about the 401, IMHO.
