    From the spec sheet booklet I got with the Pila Charger it says it also is for 3v battery charging too. It also has a built in protection circuit not to overcharge the batteries. I also only use protected batteries. I'll double check with the manufacturer though.

    I'm not using the AW 3.0v at the moment. But it has worked great on the other brand of 123 3.0v I have been using for 4 months now. Interesting about it not working for the AW's though. hmmn?:confused:

    Agreed emonty...I'm not too keen on Tenergy's either to be honest. The pila charger is pricey but I sure do like it and you can get the auto adapter for it too.

    Thanks for the information mwa102464! Very good tips! I'll be taking a Bass fishing trip this winter to El Salto in Mexico. I have no desire to spend anytime in their lush detention facilities south of the border. :D

    I have spent more hours behind a grinder and buffing wheel than I would care to think about my friend....sounds like you have too. Agreed....it is not for the faint of heart.     First off, the center punch tip is very hard and very sharp pointed. Remember I grinded a point on it. I only hit it with the small ball peen hammer hard enuff to punch a hole through it.
