    If you get removable batteries it is highly recommended to get a external charger for them. So a internal battery mod might be a smart move to start.

    Liionwholesale LG hg2 will work on any 18650 mod just fine. Alot of other batteries like Sony's are fine but the LG's are always easier for me to find. If they aren't LG, sony, panasonic/Sanyo or samsung (I think that's all of them) then they are rewraps.

    That resistance feature shouldn't be there imo. If adjusting it it should only be by .01 or so to match your coil. I wouldn't mess with it. It might read a couple points off what your coil is but that's a normal thing.
