Nope, no damaged replacement is acceptable! Hoping for a good replacement water heater, and some much deserved R&R, Mark! We can always hope for a quiet hurricane season, Dee...but I'm afraid you're right. Tracy, that's the reason I hibernate in the summer instead of winter! We've gotten some...

Hate popcorn ceilings! Definitely a pita to paint! Hoping we have a quiet hurricane season this year. I know that's got to be weighing on your mind while your working so hard to rebuild and repair from last year, Dee.

We're back to oppressive heat and humidity here, too. Slept late this morning, so Bella's walk is gonna be real short here in a few o_O

I'm sorry to hear that, Tracy. I am positive you were a ray of sunshine in her life  We have a new plasma donation center that opened here about a month ago. I visited when they first opened, and they were so overwhelmed with people that they were suggesting people give them a little time...

Good luck Kia and "the Boy"!! Put the tile top table together this afternoon, and it's actually perfect for my tiny little dining area! The chairs that came with the wooden table dining set I bought when I moved in, match it perfectly...and now I have a reason to finish putting them together...

I snagged a pretty mosaic tile bistro table at Lowes yesterday on clearance for $25, it had been $98. I haven't put it together yet, but I made them let me open the box to make sure the top wasn't damaged before I paid for it

Thanks for the suggestions! I whacked at it with my hatchet, but these roots are far enough away from the tree that they are less than the size of my wrist in diameter. The loppers got it taken care of. Happy Friday everyone :)

My whole heat pump unit is outside, with a pvc drain pipe coming out the side. Is there anything else I should look for, or is that the one I need to make sure is clog free? I don't recall anything but the duct work coming out of the unit under the house. It puffed up and started thundering...

Happy Birthday, Wharf!! And to Mrs Wharf coming up  My loppers were able to take care of the tree root, Fran. I got row 5 leveled and blocks laid today...2 more rows and I'll be done laying the pavers, then I'll frame it with landscape timbers. It'll end up being approx 10x10' :)

I got another row of sod dug out for the patio, but haven't leveled it and placed the blocks yet. I'm running into tree roots from the monster Live Oak that shades the back yard, I don't have a saws all to cut them with. So far my big loppers have been able to cut them, but if I run into any...
