    Yea I expect the solder was from the short. There was a bit of fire (kind of) before the venting started. I first three it on my bed, then thought about it. Put it outside on the railing outside my window, then thought if it exploded it could smash my window so I pushed it off the railing....

    Hmm. Silica works... but usually you have to build around the wick instead of pulling the wick through. A lot of drugstores even have the cotton pads.... well maybe its different, but in Japan. Might want to go to the mall to get cotton. Beauty stores....etc

    It probably is not an issue with the mod, but the actual tank. The coil head is not screwed down properly? Some other part of the tank isnt tightened right? The other option, you filled it wrong. some tanks are difficult to fill. if you fill it wrong, or too fast, it will leak... and sometimes...

    velocity is good, i over drip so it gets a little wet around the edges sometimes. So Horney RDA is good... if you want a nice 6 coil setup (Which btw was AWESOME with claptons....got a bit hot though!!!!) Flavor... Velocity clones are a bit rare these days but i find it has the best flavor...
