Ultrasonic cleaning - add white vinegar??

absolutely will never use dish soap.. that one I am stubborn on, even if every single person in the forum told me to LOL. I am just sticking to distilled water, that's it after this topic. I'll clean the threads with ethyl alcohol wipes, i just found some on ebay.. much safer IMO

Ultrasonic cleaning - add white vinegar??

I wasn't talking about coils, but tanks, tips and bases. I used the vinegar once, too many say not to, so won't do it again. Cheers!

Ultrasonic cleaning - add white vinegar??

Oh ok, yes, for those re wicking and dry burning coils, it's useful. I only use pre made coils to this point, I basically toss 2 coils a month when averaged out. That's maximum $5 a month, plus juice, I only go through 3ml a day, so, a bottle of juice a week. I spend overall 70 a month max plus...

Tootle Puffers, Part Three! (The Sequel of the Redux)

gonna give the anyvape peakomizer 2 a try.. there's a mega version which takes nautilus coils and 22mm, top fill, easiest thing I've ever seen to use, and the standard 2.0 which takes same coils but 19mm. Local store blowing them out, seems like a very nice MTL, protected glass, very different...

    Looking for a replacement RY4

That's fair enough! Out of all the ones I tried, it was my favourite.. but granted, i have tried only 7 different RY4's. I didn't really bother trying to find another one after tribeca, as it leaves this taste in my mouth that has me licking my lips after a draw, which for me is a sign of "just...

not 100% sure what you are asking, but it takes a single 18650. I decided to put a good one in there, just for the fact of why not, when one day i might be using the fire mode at low ohms. So i use a vtc5a in there, which is my favourite 18650 battery (the absolute best compromise for capacity...

    One for the mouth-to-lungers

i screw in the tank with the coil before I build it. It's no more accurate than my mvp pro but i have misfired that before and totally burnt the cotton of a coil. You see for example with the innokin MTL tanks and the original isub, if you remove the coil it drains all the juice, so i test it...

    One for the mouth-to-lungers

excellent thanks. I find my MTL resistances I like are not more than 1.5, and 1 and 1.2 are very welcome. So that's what I'd be trying to build to begin with. Geez with pre built coils I always know my wattages, but this would be a whole new ballgame. With the siren, it seems to wick well and...

    One for the mouth-to-lungers

Yes I do have a mini 521 to check resistances.. all good there.. i use it before i fill up a tank to make sure the coil isn't a DOA (some tanks drain all liquid without coil, for example, so to avoid waste). Cheers

tribeca baby.. that's my favourite.. Now in high Vg/low nic or the usual PG based high nic (or low nic). Is just delicious with great vapour production. halocigs.com

I'd need to learn how to approximate resistance if i even wanted to start. I just watched Pete review the digiflavor siren and the 25mm impressed me. Would look great on a nice 25mm flush mod like the Alien. It's very cheap so if I ever decide to get into building, i suppose that would be where...

Ultrasonic cleaning - add white vinegar??

too late, I added a very tiny bit to the clean I did after I posted above. It came up really shiny and clean, better than with just the water. What neutralises the acid? So i know for future. Does water do it?

My dad loves the von erl.I refilled a pod for him today, it's very easy (you just remove the base with something like a plier to flick it out, then fill on the sides and snap the base back on). Works perfectly. The pods are indeed disposable, but the bases are all compatible.. You can keep as...

    One for the mouth-to-lungers

wow that's the most expensive tank I've seen. 123 euros? FWIW, the first page says they are no longer available, but the manufacturer does indeed have them in stock ready to ship, for anyone who is game. Also, is the erlkoenigin just for rebuilders, or are their pre built RTV coils available...

Ultrasonic cleaning - add white vinegar??

believe it or not we can't get ever clear here.. Even just to clean 510 contact pins, trying to find wipes with ethyl rather than isopropyl alcohol is near impossible. I once bought some scott wipes cause the pic in the shop said ethyl alcohol. When i received them, they were the poisonous...

Ultrasonic cleaning - add white vinegar??

right, but the ultrasonic clean with water for the new atties is doing the job for me now.. no need to stand over the sink, especially with my bad back. Of course cleaning them is a good idea when new. Unless the excitement to use it is overwhelming, where I have been known to,ahem, just fill...

Ultrasonic cleaning - add white vinegar??

In the below video (in italian but self explanatory), they use a touch of white vinegar added to the water. I bought this like a fool and it's so tiny, it can only do one tank when all pieces are seperate at a time. But the 8 minute job cleans pretty well even with just water (I am using...
