    ok i have changed the wicks for my vivi nova, but find that the taste is different now. The original wicks that came with the set was better. Why is this so?

    I just bought some nichrome 32 gauge wires and used cotton on my vivi nova as wicks but notice that the taste is lesser now? The original wicks that came with the vivi nova was better. What could have gone wrong?

    Hi jazzytech, i have just gone and bought a nickrome 32 awg wire and a cotton yard. I'm going to try doing it. Is there any vids that show what needs to be done or tutorials? I heard and read that i need to burn the wire first to prevent some bad metallic taste and also to boil the cotton etc...
