Knowledge learned the hard way......... If your APV is as clean as a baby's bottom, has a good battery, and does not have a major short showing, but is doing nothing for you in performance and power, and you are at your wit's end.......it is almost a certainty that you have a small piece of...

I belong to VW, but don't often follow the Zen thread over there. I got very tired of the rude comments from some of the members. I, therefore, don't have any knowledge of the very recent comments that evidently decided Mike to close the thread, but I can certainly see how having to...

Perhaps........but a weekly or biweekly update in the Zen Alert thread would only have taken a minute and would have gone a long way in assuaging people's frustration. If one minute makes that much difference, then there are more serious problems.

I have not commented on the BAM situation before and as you all know, I have always defended Mike vigorously from all attacks. As I see it, this is what the problem stemmed from. 1. Terrible communication. I understand perfectly that Mike can not be expected to answer all BAM shipping...

Are these the same springs we've been using for a couple months, or are they something new?

Ash and Ash II both take a 4 ml tank. There are no 3 ml Zen tanks. Ash and Ash II are Standard APVs, just with a smaller tank than the normal Standards. Minis and AYSs are both Minis, but the AYS takes the larger size tank. Think of the AYS which is a mini and the Ash and Ash II which...

Minis and Ashes take a 4 ml and Standards and AYSs take a 5 ml........there is no 3 ml. I don't know the size of the SW as I understand that tank size is a little different from all the other Zens.

Tiff, I 'liked' your post, but I have to say that I now have a supreme feeling of righteousness for my restraint in Zen ownership......LOL.......I'm stopping at 5......I think..........LOL

Your financial support of ECF is on a yearly cycle and I don't think it can be revoked. You need to go to Paypal and uncheck the Subscribed Payments to prevent a yearly automatic recurring charge. You will then be notified when it's time to renew which you can just ignore if you choose not to...

Yes, this thread, as well as most others, is constantly being monitored. One reason for that is that Supplier Threads have a different/stricter set of rules than threads in other parts of the forum. I'm sure the rules are listed somewhere, but I haven't seen them lately. Another reason for...

Yes, I think the best route is to contact Zen before proceeding. Shipping to and from the Philippines does take longer and there have been problems with the APVs going missing. That's why Zen originally set up a representative there to facilitate shipping and, from what I understand, that has...

In the past, we were told not to disassemble the positive post on the APVs at it would void the warranty. I have not heard that that had changed.. I don't think that applies to the positive post of the Zattys as they are different. I would send a PM or email to Zen with a specific subject line...

The only thing I want to add to all the extremely good battery advice is to ALWAYS buy your batteries from a large, well known supplier. There are counterfeit AW IMR batteries out there, and your best bet to avoid these is to buy from a well known vendor with a large battery turnover. You...

odogg, you have not offended anyone here by asking questions. We really are happy to help anyone with a problem or a question. We/I just get irritated by people who are rude in asking/demanding answers, and feel entitled to be that way. You have always been polite and have been very helpful and...

I have the Xstar SP2 and you need 1 large aluminum spacer in each track for 18350s. The SP2 has sliders. I also have the Xstar 6 channel charger which I don't like as much, specifically because it has springs instead of sliders.........

I think there is quite a bit of misunderstanding out there about the Zenfidels in general and this thread. In the beginning of the HOH saga, the original members offered encouragement and incentive to Zen to make the APVs that everyone wanted. After the first Zen APVs were out in the wild...
