    The 5V charger, not the 4.2V. Although autos, likely not user error. They all behave correctly, charge just doesn't last. Ack, you know how QC goes! Like I said, price is good so I write it off the same way I would an atty. I'm still quite satisfied. I was just wondering what the specs were.

    Thank you. I thought that's what their specs might say. Mine have been hit or miss (not yours in particular...just this type). Some are lasting, others are losing their ability to full charge and are down to less than an hour after 6-8 weeks. Not complaining though as the price is nearly half...

    I haven't watched the video but what I do is attach the tank to the prong of the plate and just push down. Sometimes it takes a couple of tries but it will snap into place. There's a definite feel and sound to it and the tank comes off normally (sans plate).

    Yep. That's what I was talking about. That looks exactly like the wicks on the Ego-T (only not attached to the plate).

    If I'm understanding correctly, the wick probably isn't burned but rather is just encrusted with juice gunk. If you put a lighter to it, a small flame will erupt but it's not the wick that's burning up...it's the juice burning off. When the fire goes out, put the lighter to it again and it won't...

    I haven't read the whole thread but I noticed that a lot of the posters are new. When I first started, I honestly couldn't tell they were burned. My taste buds were fried. It took me a good long time before I could discern that it was toasted.
