    I haven't tried twisting 28 gauge, so I can't tell you what it should come in at. My 26 gauge twist yields around .5ohms though (actually to be exact I think it was .6ohms. I'll recheck when i have my meter with me and get you a ballpark of the cotton).

    Are you talking about the locking ring and not the accent ring? The unit comes standard with a knurled locking ring and they come standard with smooth polished accent rings.

    Also note how I don't coil all the way up to the top of the center post, get too high and juice doesn't feed up there well and you'll get a burnt taste. Wrap your coil about 3/4 of the way up max and the last 1/4, just bend you coil up to go into the set screw hole.

    3 wraps of 26 gauge, not very tight yields around 1.0 ohm for me. Too tight and it pulls the coil out of the airflow, you want the coil to be out near the walls of the top cap, so use plenty of filler under the coil so it pushes it out. My cutaway view gives a great shot of how far out you...

    What were you running for resistance and what gauge wire? Lower your ohms for more vapor production especially with a design like this which has a high wick to coil ratio, you'll need more heat to take advantage of it.

    Sounds like you have some air in the wick. Couple of things to check. Make sure the rolled stainless mesh reaches all the way to the bottom of the wick holder without binding. Two when pushing the ss wick aside to feed the cotton through make sure it doesnt get kinked or permantly pushed...

    Just an update that I dropped them off at the PO last night about 555pm, online it said that last pickup was 600pm, but the box itself said last pickup was 5:15pm and I checked some tracking numbers and they haven't updated, so it looks like you'll be getting them on Christmas Eve day.

    Dual Macro Coils, the coils spread apart quite a bit putting them on, so its a big fugly, but I've been vaping this the past hour and it is sweet! Tons of Vapor and nice flavor. 26 gauge 4 wraps about .75ohm:
