Help! Need a reverse ejuice Recipe Calculator

    48mg/ml * 5ml = 240mg 240mg / (5ml + 5.5ml + 3.8ml) = 240mg / 14.3ml = 16.8mg/ml Basically you find the total mg of nicotine then divide by the total ml.

pg base,vg base, or does it matter in the end?

Most likely the PG, but you might want to ask in a forum with people experienced in that area: Health, Safety and E-Smoking

    Help? Does PGA add th

Qhit is an additive but needs to be used at 10% and maybe more, depending on your PG/VG ratios and voltage. I've been testing it and it works better than anything else I've tried for real TH, but I don't value TH as much as a lot of people do, so I'd love to hear other peoples' thought on it...

    Some DIY questions....

Perfumer's Apprentice has good ones for all of those flavors. Particularly get the Vanilla Bean Ice Cream for your Vanilla, and if a DIY shop doesn't have it I'd say it's worth it to go to PA for your flavors. Check out post 3 of my guide.

    Spiced Rum in e-juice

I haven't tried it by itself either, but it really just imparts an alcohol flavor to it and if you already have alcohol it boosts it. Just checked out your newbie video series, I think you may cause a large surge in the popularity of the incoming vaping fetish.

    Spiced Rum in e-juice

Just make sure there's no sugar in the alcohol. @MistressNomad - If you have any PA Champagne it kicks up the alcohol taste.

pg base,vg base, or does it matter in the end?

I don't think there's much reason to stock up now. If the court for some reason bans e-cigs, the nicotine vendors aren't all going to shut down overnight.

    almond flavoring

Yeah it's fine. You can usually find out by Google searching the chemical name and FEMA GRAS or checking the MSDS, although the MSDS is for a relatively pure concentrate and not small amounts. When I searched for 'benzaldehyde fema gras' I found this, for example: The FEMA GRAS assessment of...

    lorann oil Emulsion

No Xanthan (or Acacia) Gum, they have a very high vaporization point and will sit on your atty slowly killing it like a windpipe being crushed. Caramel color is not so good either, in significant amounts.

pg base,vg base, or does it matter in the end?

It's a percentage sign that got mistranslated by the forum software switch. Most were fixed, but the first one in each post seems to still be messed up. Let me know where you see it if it's an important post so I can fix it. I answered your question here (links to post 168)...

    Guide to DIY Flavoring

No, I'm not associated with anyone but myself. Didn't know that site existed, but looks like it just re-routes to a standard Joye/DeKang reseller. Anyway, I'll just link to your site, it's not too bad. Although that 'download now' link is hidden in the middle of the page.

    Guide to DIY Flavoring

GoodDog: Thanks, added a link to your post in the Capella's section. Good information. frisco: Some people have had flavors go bad fast in the fridge, while others precipitate/separate out of their base. PG is less viscous and easier to work with, so I prefer to use a nic base in that. If...

All VG is not created equal!

I just went to usp.org and searched for USP Glycerin and read everything relevant: Search I repeat, I'm not saying Humco is better than NOW, only that I won't use something that isn't both USP and vegetable sourced unless I had no option. Lots of people use NOW with no problems, so it's...

All VG is not created equal!

That's interesting Zelphie, I wonder why Humco is more often problematic for vaping if it's also vegetable based. It doesn't really matter what vegetable it's from, the process of refining it is the same. I don't know what you're getting at LowThudd, usually you have a point somewhere and...

All VG is not created equal!

Good that they test it for USP grade quality, but I don't understand why they don't use the USP monograph then. What? USP testing ignores H2O when testing for their monograph, if you misunderstood that sentence. Nothing is going to be literally 100% pure, molecule by molecule, in...

All VG is not created equal!

Well I just like to have the information and I share it, but you can do what you want with it. USP certifies greater than 99% purity (excluding H2O) and <0.1% DEG and <0.1% EG and that's it. A company claiming to be higher in purity than that does not mean it's any purer than another company's...

All VG is not created equal!

I don't trust anything that says 100% because that's simply not possible. It just makes me wonder how much they're rounding up. That aside, I wouldn't want food grade because it's less strict than USP. Also, from a recent FCC article: Poster: Opportunities to modernize the compendial quality...

All VG is not created equal!

I have only used xtreme vaping, and essential wholesale VG, both are USP and Kosher, and both are fine for me. I've also tried a little of Jynn's VG from PA and that's just as good. However, I never tried Humco or anything because when I first looked into VG I read that a lot of the standard...

    Guide to DIY Flavoring

Depends what kind of Cherry you want. From the Awards section, bottom of post 2. :) "Cherry: 1) Seedman's Cherry 2) FA Cherry 3) PA Black Cherry / Maraschino Cherry" I don't know about FF's Cherry which is all natural, but the other Cherry flavors are bad or cough syrupy IIRC.

    Need Expert Advice Please

The easiest way is to get nicotine in just PG or just VG (preferably whichever one you want to be dominant in your mix), plain PG, and plain VG. Then you can make any ratio to your hearts content. If you know you want a specific ratio get what you need to make it.
