    I tried to take some pictures but they didn't come out. Sorry Man. I've done this with two atomizers and had great success. Basically...push your wick far enough down that it's just slightly below the "lip" of the lowest point of the spike. Follow?

The solution to dry burning is very simple...the wick is not making good contact with the atomizer...you just have to push the wick down ever so slightly...
