This guy makes it look really easy:
I would personally probably put a little strip of cotton between the two coils to separate them, and keep them there. But... I've never been (wo)man enough to try, so good luck!!
Don't worry, most of us have been there. Either with store-bought or home made. At least yours are home-made and you haven't spent top dollars on 'premium' juices that taste like cat-piss (sorry for that, this will probably be censored, yes?) See it as the journey you need to take to get to the...
Ever considered an Nebox? Holds 10 ml's of eliquid, so refilling is limited to about once every other day maybe. Does temp-control (though I have no idea how well it does that, since I never used it) and works with factory coils or an rda supplied with the unit. I love mine!
Edit: I see they're...
Ah.... Anxiety makes it so much more difficult though!! Just hang in there @Uncle, you're doing great and you'll get there in your own due time I'm sure
Glad you came back @Uncle !
I got myself a couple of (very) early birthday presents. Or belated vapeversary presents? ;)
Kanger Togo and Mi One drifting slowly on the currents towards me, lol. May the battle of the mini's begin (somewhere in April I fear...)
Not too fond of it either, but it comes in handy when you've got a persistent cold. I can't seem to get rid of this bug, or it's a different one every couple of weeks... I never used to get colds, but this winter I get all the ones available, it seems :(
And by all means keep asking them! Now... did anyone ever get back to you on the airflow issue of the Kayfun 5? I don't have one of those, but watched a video where the guy showed you have to push the airflow controll ring up and then you can turn it. Another video mentioned that the juice...
Exzactly! O, by the way, if I'd ever be in enabling mode (I think of myself as an unabler ;) ) everyone would be buying subtank mini's and neboxes. However, I also learned those don't work as well for everybody as they do for me. So I am always very careful of advising any specific tank or mod...
^^^^what he said
The flavour of those prism tanks is awesome, and the coils last forever! The airflow is a bit tight, so the Ego one will give you more options to play around with that. But not better flavour imo...
I'm sorry if I came across as judgmental. I don't mean to be. I just want to save people from purchasing a lot of stuff that might not work for them while they're not sure of what works for them. @ChelsB mentioned she spent $ 200 in one weekend on vape gear. I can't look in anybody's wallet, but...
You don't need to. Just get to a happy place with the tanks you've already got. You've had trouble with your KF 5 before, no? Then buying another KF-like atty seems... well... a bit masochistic. Learn to get along with what you've got first, and then expanding the horizon makes much more sense...
I have a couple of Ego one's v1. I could never get them to not leak, even with the CLR coils. I've learned that, with Joyetech tanks, you have to screw the coils in real tight. With Kanger tanks it's the opposite: too tight and leaking happens. The Joyetech stuff doesn't seem to work right for...
Dryburning should be no problem with PT coils. Just keep it short-n-sweet ;) I did that for years without any problems, no insulators melting on me. But perhaps they've changed them since?
If there's a metallic taste you're getting, then washing it out won't help. It has to do with your coil. Metallic taste is usually the sign of a hotspot or hotleg. So remove the wick and pulse your coil. Check to see if it glows brighter in one spot than anywhere else. If that is so, then remove...
I LOVE my neboxes! I've never had leaking issues, but
that's because I take precautions. First of all, keep the bottom, which you screw off to fill, really clean. Make sure no pocket lint finds its way in there.
As your tank gets emptier by vaping, unscrew the bottom and reinstall (and vape) to...
