    If the mod was a failure I would try to salvage the chip because it is that good. I fixed my only issue in less than 5 minutes removing two screws and inserting a simple brace. This mod for $30 is a steal. I would pay twice that for the chip.

    Blue slice here. Paint is looking rough after a couple months. Got misfires this week, chip board not secure at the top. Made a wedge to brace the board and it fires like new.

    Because with the plating I would see arcing (blue sparks) when putting that bottom cover on the mod. I thought it was dead - wouldn't fire. Read a forum post about the chrome around the holes causing the problem, filed the chrome that touches the mod body, the side you don't see, and it still...

    Cheap mod, cheap price. File off the chrome plating around the 4 screw holes on the bottom plate before using it and it will be fine.

    OP'S battery in 1st post looks rusty on bottom, IPVD3S did not cause that damage. Maybe he got drunk and someone battery swiped his good one, or he is not telling the truth or just trolling.

    I built a coil, wicked it, and had a vape. What was it supposed to taste like? The bottle wasn't labeled, could've been scented hand sanitizer even. What temp do you guys use vaping hand sanitizer? I don't vape it cause that would be gross, but if I did, would warm be better or worse than hot?

    I liked my slice enough to buy a hohm wrecker G2 from them. The kanthal TC is what I use it for, not sure about SS. It's nice to swap an atty from a mech mod and run it on the FSK chip mod without wondering what wire it's built with.

    Only Kangertech I bought was that 40 watt one with no screen, just lights for battery life and watts. Can't kill it even though it's been through tough times. even bought a back up when they were closing them out cheap.

    Only mod ever to brick on me in 4 years was the Smok Groove. Ancient by today's standards but I can still remember the smell of the circuit board. Left me weary of Smok but did try the M65. that one still works after filing the chrome plating off the bottom cover. Still have 3 screws not...

    The Archon is a nice mod, light weight for a dual 18650, TC works well too. Easy learning curve for the buttons is a nice thing, no click 4 times while holding x, etc. very straightforward operation.

    It was 40 bucks, with 2 18650s it goes a couple days on a pair of batteries, light weight, and TC in SS and Ti work fine for my builds. long story short, I like the Archon and would buy it again .
