    Ya, even though I've never had a problem with unprotected battys and charging them right at drop in vapor production, I still much prefer to use a protected one just for extra safety of discharge like say with travel and stuff and it would be a while before I could charge a dropped off one in vapor.

    No. The protected batty is a VERY tight fit. Period. VERY tight, and if you get some off size of one, it isn't going to fit at all.

    Just take the adapter off, be sure to do this or you'll scratch it, and take a rough nail file to the little corners. Worked fine.

    Oh gawd. lol Scary. Well wow, you guys should see these trust fire battys and the difference size. One batch is taller than the batch that works. SAME brand Trust fire, the blue ones, same place. Soooooo I guess we can expect some major inconsistencies on the protected batty sizes.
